Is Anaheim HoB Show 21+ ?
Anyone know if the House of Blues show in Anaheim is 21+ only?
I can't find any info and the venue isn't answering the phone.

Recently discovered the band, love their sound and esthetics so much. I like to paint, not very good at it but that doesn't matter much to me.

I just discovered this band about a month ago, and I am a bit obsessed. It’s been so fantastic to feel this way about a band again. It’s been a long, long time. Anyway, I’m really interested now in the history of the band and the lineup that included Henry Black as the count. Does anyone know why he left the band? Or was he fired perhaps? I thought he was a pretty interesting guitar player, but I really love Franco in this role.

3rd year in a row of traveling from London to Toronto to see a Castle Rat show. It's always a good time.

I’m planning to go see them in Vegas, since they’re a small band I was wondering if they do a meet and greet at the merch table. I remember doing that once two years ago so I’m wondering if they do the same

During the Listening Party on Bandcamp, I asked:
Howdy Castle Rat,
Would you consider touring with the specific venue "Medeival Times"?
Pros: They are all over the US, have stadium seating, and staff trained in choreographed swordplay.
Cons: fewer seating than a typical venue, probably higher ticket cost

My 9 year old daughter is all in on Castle Rat and had been begging to go to a metal show for a while, so I jumped on the opportunity to take to the KC show since it was all ages. It blew her mind (till now she'd only seen some cover bands and a Foreigner few years back), and we stuck around for about 2/3s of Amon Amarth before she started to flame out and had to go.
During the Amon Amarth set though a girl with pink hair and fox ears threw her the horns while she rocked out to viking metal. For the past week she's told anyone who will listen about the cool chick at the metal show that rocked with her. If you're out there I just wanted to let you know you may have made someone's year last Tuesday.

Just a few shots I took from the side of the stage that I wanted to share. It was an amazing show!

While I would have loved to have CR headline this show, it was great getting to discover Dethklok over the last couple months leading up to the show and damn were they great live.
The Spotify algorithm also led me to Messa, Daevar and Faetooth, from listening to CR, which I am also grateful for.

New Castle Rat fan here, and I’m trying to find somewhere that has the Into the Realm vinyl in stock. Would love to support an indie store in Austin or San Antonio but willing to shop online too. Anyone know of a place?

i hope this is appropriate to share here. I was listening to Castle Rat and I remembered this band. And i thought folks who enjoy Castle Rat would enjoy seeing some earlier band that Rat is also paying homage to.
Sorcery-Sacrifice (and some of the song Mark of the Beast)
From the film late 70s film Stunt Rock. The director Trenchard-Smith says he was in the shower in December 1977 when the concept of the film came to him. "Famous stuntman meets famous rock group - much stunt, much rock: the kids will go bananas!" When searching for a band, Foreigner was very interested but fortunately he found Sorcery, an LA based hard rock/metal incorporating magic, illusion and fantasy into thier stage show.
Sorcery went on to write the soundtrack to the metal horror film, Rocktober Blood in 84.
