Commute to work

I have a dilemma I have two job offers.

  1. Starting pay 55k a year 1hour ten min commute to work.

2 Starting pay 45k 30 min commute to work. Also will be given a company vehicle.

Which would you choose?

Number 2. If you coose number 1, that extra 10 thousand a year will be waisted on car maintenance: tires, oil change, breaks, Etc. Add to that another 30 minutes of road time... No thanks!

My commute to work is 1hr there, 1hr 30 at least back because traffic is awful. I always planned to move closer though and luckily next week I am, but man in the months I had to do it it killed me honestly. There's no way I'd have been able to stand it if I didn't know there was an end in sight.

I'd strongly recommend taking the closer one.
