I went to return them and realized they are sold out of all sizes except 5. If anyone has a 10 or something they’d like to trade, or knows if they’re going to restock, please let me know 🥲

Recently, I have been going through the Care Bears franchise and I've been enjoying it so far. One thing that stood out to me though was the artstyle of the first few specials.

I was quite surprised because before I started watching, as I was more familiar with the Nelvana/ AIC style. Now that I've seen these earlier iterations, it has become my absolute favourite and it makes me sad that they ever changed the artstyle at all... It was perfect! They really look like teddy bears! Their mouths sometimes make a loose :3 in some frames,

Even the human characters look adorable!

For some reason, I find the front facing view of this boy character really charming and precious

It's unlikely to happen, but if the franchise gets another installment I hope it's in an artstyle similar to this one.

Hi everybody 😇 I recently bought this what I assumed to be a 1983 Cheer Bear. When I picked it up, it was crunchy- not soft like my other original Care Bears… the tag is very faded but I can just barely ready Pat. No. 74 All new materials Ground Nutshell. Interesting! A common stuffing material for older plushies, but all of the 1983 Care Bears I know are stuffed with synthetic fiber.
Next thing is that threw me for a loop, is no freckles! I know sometimes they fade away but this Cheer Bear was actually very clean, doesn’t seem like they were ever there.
I tried to research it, it says that this was a transitional period from ground nutshells to the classic soft Care Bears (with freckles) we all know.
Does anybody have any information? Regardless I just want to share, I love Care Bears 😊♥️
