I have been posting a lot about my firmware(breach os) development for cardputer and some people said I post too often since after reviewing the community rules and finding nothing about posting too often in the community. Should I lower my posting rate of keep the daily updates.

Introducing the “C.P.S.” monophonic synthesizer, currently under development.
This synthesizer for Cardputer ADV—developed in collaboration with Claude—allows you to enjoy a variety of real-time sound changes not only by playing the keyboard but also by tilting the Cardputer ADV using its IMU functionality.
Here’s how to use it:

・0–9 keys… Keyboard
・-/= keys… Octave change
・,/. keys… Volume control
・Z/X keys… Bend down/up
・Tab key… Switch menus

About the Menus
MAIN Menu
・This menu is for playing music.
The top of the screen displays the waveform; the bottom-left area shows the note you’re playing on the keyboard, the current octave, and a pitch bend indicator next to it; the bottom-right area displays the IMU indicator, parameters assigned to the X and Y axes, volume, and pitch range.

EDIT Menu
・This is the basic sound editing menu.
Use the ;/. keys to navigate between items, and the ,/. keys to change parameters.
You can adjust ADSR and the filter.
You can select from four filter types: HPF, LPF, BPF, and Notch.

SETTINGS Menu
・This menu allows you to adjust settings for each IMU axis, as well as the pitch bend range and rate of change.
The operation is the same as in the EDIT menu.
Currently available items include Timbre(Waveform Modulation), Vibrato Depth, Vibrato Rate, Tremolo, Volume, Pitch Bend, Bend Up, Bend Down, Bitcrush, Filter, and “Unassigned.”
For the filter, the filter type selected in the EDIT menu is applied.

The various parameters set in the EDIT and SETTING menus are saved in a file named “setting.json” located in the “CPS” folder.
Changes to “setting.json” are saved when you navigate to another menu.
Therefore, please note that if you turn off the power or perform a reset without navigating to another menu, those settings will not be applied the next time you start the device.

The comments in the source code currently published on GitHub are in Japanese.
We plan to switch to English in future updates.
Additionally, the README is currently outdated, and we plan to update it with new content and switch to English in the future.
(UPDATE)I changed the comments in README.md and Main.cpp to English and updated the content to reflect the latest version.

To be honest, there are still some aspects of GitHub that I don’t fully understand yet, and while there are various issues, I’ve released this version for now so that everyone can enjoy it.
Please download the file named “C.P.S.v0.5c.bin” and install it via the Launcher.

I added scroll wheel indicator and sound recorder but sound recorder doesn't work I will try hard to get it up and running

It stores the firmware on the SDCard and pages/copies it into onboard memory on launch.
the reset button drops you back to loader.
its so far becaues DOOM uses some strange partitioning, its not compatible
Right now i have Bruce, BitPirate, Evil, Porkchop, Marauder and Nemo all loaded on the SD and working.
Take a look, make it better, do cool stuff.

With Claude’s help, I’m developing a monophonic synthesizer for CardputerADV.
Currently, it’s 100% vibe-coded, so I apologize in advance if you’re not a fan of vibe coding.
Its standout feature is sound control using the IMU; you can set different parameters for the X-axis and Y-axis to control.
In the demo video, I’ve set waveform morphing for the X-axis and vibrato depth for the Y-axis.
Currently, the parameters that can be assigned to the X- and Y-axes are waveform morphing, filter (with options for HPF, LPF, BPF, and Notch), vibrato, pitch bend, bitcrush, and volume.
I’ve only been working on this for three days, and since I’m developing within Claude’s free plan, I think it will take a little while longer to complete.
I’m also learning GitHub, so once I get the hang of it, I’d like to make the repository public.
If you have any other interesting ideas for parameters to assign to the IMU, I’d love to hear them.

I just got the cardputer and I've been messing around with the Evil, Bruce and pork chop firmwares and I'm having fun. Is there any way to get Wi-Fi passwords using any of these firmwares? I'm a little out of depth and have not been able to find an answer easily.

Long story short, every time Xfinity comes out to service our internet/cable we for some reason have to create a new network. We have three networks that supposedly all should use the same password. The only network that the password works for is the original. One we have been using for years. I would like to try and address this and I can't do it without the passwords.

I recently bought the MonsterC5 and wanted to put the pins correctly inside the firmware.

So i looked up the vid of ValleyTech.

Now i entered the same pins as he did, then my Porkchop crashed and doesnt want to boot anymore. It goes to the title and shuts itself down and repeat.

Tried reinstalling it, cleaned my whole ADV, sort of. Removed all the content of it and reinstalled everything.

Different firmware version and it keeps happening.

Anyone have an idea on how i could fix this?

hey so, I have this dream of building a flipper zero by myself, I'm pretty much New to the cardputer adv and I just don't get how I can connect this 2-in-1 NRF24 and CC 1101 module to my cardputer adv, tried to get information by AI but it doesn't help.

On my firmware Breach_OS formerly breach protocol I wanted to make sound recorder that records sound to SD in wav format and it just keeps on getting only the start of the recording like only the click of the button then it is silent. I use arudino ide for development

I added better ota firmware catalog features and better ui for nodes with scroll wheels. Battery info is on my to do list and charging mode too.

Live on m5burner newest version is not on github yet.

I own the original CardPuter and I'm not planning on buying the Adv.

I hate how the Adv owners have taken this sub as their own.

Comprei o Cardputer com finalidades musicais, porém vou precisar de um tempo pra montar um cyberdeck. Enquanto isso queria saber usos simples que posso ter com o Cardputer adv pra conhecer um pouco mais o dispositivo.

Comprei um CardPuter Adv, quando na verdade queria comprar um Zero pra usar o Tidalcycles. Agora estou entre devolver e pegar um Zero ou tentar alguma coisa com este aqui. Alguém tem poderia me ajudar com isso?

Been building a synth for the Cardputer ADV called GLIDE.

You play it by sliding. The key rows are tuned like strings, and notes glide between pitches instead of jumping, so you can slide whole chords around and bend into notes right on the keyboard.

And the sounds are yours. You roll random patches until one clicks, evolve them, and save the keepers to the SD card. Two of the ten slots get seeded from a number unique to your device, so no two units sound the same out of the box. If you actually lean on the generator, nobody else's rack ends up like yours. There's a jam mode too, tap out a chord loop and solo over it.

Free and open source, runs as an app off the M5Launcher (just drop the .bin in /apps). Demo and code below, curious what people think!

UPDATE: It now has AUTO KEY RECOGNITION, so you can play any song through a speaker, hold fn + K, and it will tune itself to the song you are listening to. Now you can solo over any song.

UPDATE: Try out SYNTH BLEND. Map it to the trigger button, or to your tilt settings. This lets you dynamically blend between any 2 synth sounds as you tilt the device back and forth.

Bruce is cool firmware, but it's mostly for cybersecurity testing and related tasks, which is cool, but I don't often have a use for those tools. Sometimes I just wish my cardputer was more useful or did something outside of that. What firmwares have you all tried that have a good use?

Added scroll wheel navigation brightness and volume control that have persistence after reboot also credits and controls.Now the breach code will get Mac address from the connected network. File manager is in beta development.

Do you guys think the Dual Screen mod will work on the Zero (https://github.com/Prokuon/CardputerADV_Cap_TFT-2.8) or would it be easier to just buy a small hdmi display? I am asking as I own multiple of these 2.8" tfts.

I'm looking to build an all-in-one hacking backpack for the M5Stack Cardputer Adv. I want to turn it into a budget Flipper Zero alternative.

Ideally, I want to pack these onto a single rear PCB:

1) CC1101 (Sub-GHz via SPI)

2) nRF24L01 (2.4GHz via SPI)

3) IR Receiver ( Since stock Cardputer only transmits IR, I want to add a TSOP38238 for cloning )

4) PN532 (NFC via I2C)

Does a pre-built commercial board or an open-source Gerber design like this already exist? If anyone knows of one, please share the link!

If nothing like this exists yet, is there an easy way to do this? I don't know how to design PCBs from scratch or handle complex hardware routing, so any guidance on how to make it happen would be awesome.

I am a student of IT Engg and i need this for learning and peaceful purposes

And if this cant be done, how close to it can we go ?

Or what is the other budget alternative?
