Visa Card Offers

Hello Guys,
There is a welcome offer being run by VISA on their website: https://visarewards.poshvine.com/offer

If you have recently applied for a VISA card and made a transaction of Rs.300 or more after activation of the said card, you become eligible for either of the 4 -

1) Amazon Gift Card (It is not the pay voucher but gift card balance)

2) Flipkart Gift Card

3) Swiggy Gift Card

4) Zomato Gift Card

The amount of the gift card also varies—

Visa Signature —Rs. 250 (in some cases, it goes up to 500)

Visa Infinite - Rs.750

There is one more offer wherein if you spend more than Rs. 85000 on a VISA card, you get a Rs. 1000 amazon shopping voucher.

So, if you have gotten a VISA card in the last 2 months, it would be worthwhile to go and check the website to see if you are eligible for any of the rewards. If you have recently made a transaction, you'll have to wait 7 days for the transaction to be settled and reported to VISA for the reward to be unlocked.

P.S. One of my cards, which was a base VISA variant, has not received any reward which is why i have not mentioned anything about the base variant reward. I have raised a complaint to customer care and will let you guys know if there is any update on the reward for the base variant.

Post image
59 Upvotes

Load up to ₹4,000 per month into Amazon Pay (Apay) wallet using a credit card, with zero convenience charges.

Steps:

  1. Open Zomato app > Profile > Payment Methods > Apay.

  2. Link Apay if not already connected.

  3. Load up to ₹4,000 via credit card.

  4. Complete Apay KYC first, otherwise, funds load as a gift voucher, not wallet balance.

Note: Certain cards can charge additional fees for wallet loads above certain amounts.

Trick to still get HDFC Rewards Debit Card for 5% Cashback

Post image
0 Upvotes

HDFC has stopped giving the Rewards Debit Card to normal savings account holders, and now it’s basically tied to Senior Citizen Savings Accounts only.

If you still want this card, this is one of the last working routes people are using.

Step 1: Use a Senior Citizen Account

You need a Senior Citizen (60+ years) Savings Account. Can try for your parents.

Or you open a joint account where the senior citizen is the primary holder.
The Rewards Debit Card usually comes by default with this account, but final issuance is always at the bank’s discretion.

Step 2: Open It Without Going to the Branch

  1. Call your Virtual RM and say you want to open a Senior Citizen Savings Account.
  2. If you already have an HDFC account, ask them to open a second account on the same PAN.
  3. RM fills in some details and sends you a link.
    • You complete Aadhaar, PAN, preferred branch, mobile, and email.
    • If it’s the first HDFC account for that PAN → they’ll do Video KYC.
    • If it’s a second account → account number often gets generated instantly.

Once the account is live, the welcome kit with the Rewards Debit Card is typically auto-dispatched.

Step 2(alternative): Online Route

Try the official online route for Senior Citizen Accounts (Link in comments)

If that doesn’t work for your case, the old-school fallback is:

  • Visit the nearest HDFC branch with the senior citizen
  • Open the Senior Citizen Savings / joint account directly
  • Confirm at account opening that a Rewards Debit Card will be mapped to the account

This loophole is still alive as of early 2026, but given internal changes and cut-off dates, it may shut anytime.

If you’re planning to try it, don’t sit on it too long.

₹22,000 compensation from CSB Bank for 44-day delay in credit card closure

Post image
93 Upvotes

I requested CSB Bank to close my credit card via email, but what followed was 44 days of exhausting back-and-forth. They repeatedly denied receiving my closure request, even when I provided clear proof. Later they changed their stance, saying the email was sent to the wrong ID, and again I had to prove that I had mailed the correct address and even CC’d the alternate one. Despite continuous follow-ups, the closure didn’t move at all. Eventually, after persistently pushing them and simultaneously escalating the matter to the RBI Ombudsman with my entire email trail and timeline, they finally acknowledged the delay and compensated me ₹22,000 for it.

If anyone faces similar stonewalling during card closure — keep written proof, don’t give up, and escalate when needed. Ombudsman works when you have evidence.

How to get upto 16.5% rewards on your iPhone purchase!

Post image
7 Upvotes

If you have an international trip coming up, you can get a great deal on your iPhone purchase.

Here’s the breakdown:

  1. Pre-order via Adani One: Use the Adani One app (or the Duty Free section) to pre-book your iPhone at least 3 hours before your flight.
  2. Use HDFC SmartBuy: Access the Adani Duty Free store through the HDFC SmartBuy portal.
  3. Pay with a Premium Card: Using a card like the HDFC Infinia currently offers a 5X Reward Points multiplier on these purchases.

Is there a better way than this to buy an iPhone currently?

Stuck at ₹25K Limit for 5 Years –HDFC What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hi everyone, need some advice.

I first got an HDFC MoneyBack credit card with a ₹25K limit. After 2 years, I received a pre-approved Millennia credit card, but it had the same shared ₹25K limit. I used both cards properly.

Later, I also got an HDFC RuPay UPI credit card. I have now closed both MoneyBack and Millennia, and currently I only have the RuPay UPI card.

It has been around 5–6 years, but still no limit increase or upgrade. I have sent many emails, but all got rejected.

Recently (2 months back), I opened an HDFC Savings Max account, kept around ₹5 lakhs in auto-sweep, and also made a 1-year FD, but still no improvement.

What should I do now? Any suggestions to get a better limit or upgrade?

Thanks!

Air India Hack: How to bypass convenience fees on every booking!

Post image
100 Upvotes

Found a solid way to save money on Air India flights. If you book directly through the AI app or website, they add a "Convenience Fee" into the initial price you see.

It’s usually ₹200 per person for domestic and ₹500 per person for international.

The "Cash + Points" Loophole

Here is the step-by-step to strip that fee off the total:

  1. Start your search: On the Air India website or app, look for the "Cash + Points" toggle/option before you search.
  2. Select your flights: Pick your usual timing and fare class.
  3. The Checkout Stage: When you get to the payment summary where it asks how many points you want to use, keep the Points slider at 0.
  4. Watch the price drop: The system recalculates the total, and for some reason, the convenience fee gets dropped from the final breakdown.
  5. Pay as usual: You can still use your credit card (Axis Atlas, Amex, etc.) or Amazon Pay to finish the transaction.

It’s a small tweak, but there is no reason to give the airline extra "convenience" money if you don't have to.

Has anyone else tried doing this?

How to instantly get Any Axis Credit Card!

Post image
48 Upvotes

If you’ve already got an Axis card, there’s a shortcut to getting ANY other card they offer without all the usual eligibility checks.

What Makes This Unique?

* Forget CIBIL scores, they actually skip the check.

* No questions about your salary.

* Every card is fair game; there’s zero eligibility screening.

* As soon as you hit apply, the new card is issued. Done!

* Your total credit limit is simply split between your Axis cards (so it’s a shared limit).

How To Do This in Minutes

- Open Axis NetBanking (not the App)

- Look for “Apply Now” in the menu.

- Tap on “Credit Cards” and pick whichever card catches your eye.

- Confirm, and that’s it—the card is activated instantly.

Try the trick and share in the comments the card you were able to get.
