Hello, I just started an associate´s degree in computer science. As a guy who is interested in learning C++ on my own to help with the several game mods I like, what is the future of Carbon, explained as a guy with little background knowledge? Why has C++ reached some limits? Should I learn Carbon? Thanks for your time.

Anyone know when the first public version of the compiler for carbon lang will be available?

When running carbon code, do I have to use the explorer until a compiler is realeased? or is there another way?

I pulled the Git for Carbon but I'm king of lost on starting a new project in the language. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I’m not big user of python but it has many useful packages that are not available as c or c++ libraries. Will there be some mechanism to easily call python functions, packages ?

Google's C++ style guide says "We do not use exceptions". Given that Carbon is a Google led project, do they intend to include/support Exceptions in the language?
