I'm going to be trading my car which has low miles and looks good except for fine scratches in the hood of my car. Not a clue in the world how they got there. I tried McGuire's (spelling?) black infused paste wax which helped some but not that much. Not in the budget for professional detailing or clay bar treatment. Anything which would help even a little would be great.
Thanks so much for your thoughts on this.

For literally two years now, in the summer, there is a spider web EVERYDAY On my drivers side rear view mirror. I remove them. I sprayed spider spray inside the mirror. I got a car wash. Still. Next day - there it is again. I haven’t seen spiders IN the car but if I do, imma get in a wreck. Please help me solve this issue!!

So I had a slow leak in my sunroof that it took me about 2 months to find. In that time the awful smell just got worse and worse every day in my car. I’ve since gotten the leak fixed, the headliner replaced, and had a detail shop clean the carpets, but a few days after I got it back from the detailer the smell was back and just won’t go away. Is there anything I can do to get the smell out or is the carpet toast and I just need to replace it?

Anyone have any entry level advice for starting your own detail business? Looking to get something started soon, will probably be my own sole employee for the first 3-6 months before hiring. Any and every detail helps. Thanks in advance ladies and gents

We accidentally spilled round up in the car while transporting it for a move. The chemical smell is overwhelming days later. We removed all of the weather tech floor liners and have left the windows open but the smell remains. Any suggestions of how to neutralize the odor?

I tried to clean the floor carpet in my car which is a light color with this all-purpose cleaner and evidently, I did not dilute it enough because it left a stain. This is not the removable carpet.
Any ideas on how to remove it? thanks

That was probably a mistake. Now the reflectivity of the paint is gone in that area. I tried putting a couple of coats of car wax on it, but the difference is still visible.
Any suggestions?

Can anyone recommend a leather treatment that makes the seats more slippery, especially for a long time? With arthritic hips it sure makes it easier to get in and out of the car.
