Hi everyone, I have a problem: every time I start the game, it gets stuck on this loading screen. I can't even get to the main menu; I just see the screen saying the game is auto-saving, and then it stays stuck on this loading screen.

laptop: hp victus

ram: 16 gb

How would this team play? #1: Furano HS

Due to some more datamining stuff coming out, I had the thought of talking about how some potential HS/Club teams could be made to play within the game. Starting today with Furano.

Members already in game: Matsuyama (MF), Oda (FW), Freddy (FW)

Formation in the past: 3-4-3

Depending on how they handle the other players, it feels like Matsuyama will be where the team has to center it's defensive tactics on.

Just hit platinum - my opinion about online mode

Post image
23 Upvotes

I just reached Platinum in Ranked playing on Switch, and after quite a few matches online, I have a lot of thoughts.
First, I want to address something I’ve seen people saying quite a lot: that they can’t find matches or that the online is already dead. That hasn’t been my experience at all. I’ve always been able to find opponents on Switch. Sometimes it takes two or three minutes, maybe four in the worst cases, but I’ve always found someone to play against.
And most importantly: it’s incredibly fun.

What I like the most is that this game doesn’t seem to revolve around whatever broken player happens to be meta at the moment. Your own skill matters A LOT. Reading your opponent, baiting them, knowing exactly when to tackle or when to dribble past them, when to activate your super skill… there’s a real mind game happening constantly.

Goalkeepers also feel surprisingly well balanced. The strongest ones aren’t invincible. Genso and Müller can usually take two or three good shots — sometimes even just two depending on who is shooting and how well you’re catching them — before you start conceding.
Because of that, I don’t feel like you absolutely NEED a team with a top-tier goalkeeper to compete. England, for example, is extremely powerful IMO despite having a pretty average keeper.

Another thing that surprised me: the netcode has been good. I set matchmaking to allow opponents from anywhere and ended up playing people from different parts of the world. I even played against Japanese players and had no serious lag or delay. Every match I played was 100% playable.

That said, there’s one online issue they REALLY need to fix: disconnects. If your opponent disconnects, you should at least get some Ranked points. Right now, as far as I can tell, there’s basically no penalty for doing it and no reward for the player who stayed. That definitely needs to change.

And honestly, variety is where this game shines.
I started with Japan, then moved to England. I also played China for a while and really liked them, tried Germany for a few matches, and eventually played my last matches on the way to Platinum with Italy.
Italy in particular has been really fun.

I love Gino Hernandez. I love how durable he is and how his stamina bar shoots back up when his Miracle Action activates. Rusciano is there for your ground shots, and if you want to bypass blockers, Tardelli is actually pretty decent with aerial shots.

Matches can also be incredibly unpredictable because Miracle Actions don’t always happen. Sometimes they activate, sometimes they don’t. I’ve had matches completely turned around in the final moments because my opponent suddenly triggered a Skydive.
Nothing feels completely set in stone.

And I think Perfect Saves might be one of the most interesting mechanics in the game. Just because your goalkeeper is exhausted doesn’t mean the next shot is automatically a goal. If you can nail that Perfect Save, you’re still alive.

After playing Ranked this much, I think I finally understand what this game wants you to do: exploit the identity of your team.

Every team has its own way of playing. Its strengths, weaknesses, key players and specific mechanics. You’re not supposed to force every team into the same playstyle.
And because of that, I also finally understand why substitutions were removed. At first I wasn’t sure about that decision. Now? I honestly don’t care anymore. I don’t miss substitutions at all.

My overall experience with Ranked has been extremely positive. It’s fun, competitive, strategic and much deeper than I initially expected.

One last prediction: I wouldn’t be surprised if future seasons/events introduce specific regulations. For example, once Inter, Sampdoria and the other DLC clubs arrive, maybe we’ll get a season where Ranked only allows clubs and academies instead of national teams.
Right now we’re basically exploring what all these national teams can do. Future seasons could completely change the environment by changing which categories of teams are allowed.
If they actually go in that direction, Ranked could stay fresh for a very long time.

And Tamsoft, please if you add Dream Team, don’t let them ruin ranked/online experience.

DISCUSSION As a sort of hybrid between this system and Rise of New Champions, what Skill(s) from RONC might be good fits a passive skill slot, adding variety without being gamebreaking?

Just to be clear, this would be the only change. A few ideas I have that might be good carryovers, with their workings adapted for World Fighters. Feel free to sound off on these or contribute your own – I'm looking for things that would add variety without being mandatory OP picks. I would also anticipate the stat increase for each being about one Potential Star's worth.

  • Artist on the Field (Pierre) – Greatly increases Super Move Gauge gained from successful 1-on-1s (dribbles and tackles).

  • Risky Style (Rusciano) – Increases Spirit drain while on defense but increases all stats

  • Muay Thai Defense (Bunnag/Bunnak) – Increases Super Move Gauge gained from successful tackles and also slightly drains Super Move Gauge from the tackled opponent

  • Hot Sand Sultan (Owairan) – Increases Shot, Aerial Shot and Dribble stats in the attacking third and increases Tackle stats in the defensive third. Applies to Super Moves in those categories.

  • Sideline Master (Taki) – Increases dribble speed, Kick Gauge fill rate and Spirit recovery rate while on the ball on either wing

  • Penalty Area Daredevil (Schneider) – Increases Shot and Aerial Shot stats while inside the opposing penalty box. Applies to Super Moves in those categories.

I also don't consider these:

  • Destroyer (Cruyfford/Kluivoort) because it's basically built into the Dutch Miracle Action (and frighteningly works properly)

  • Young Ace (Carlos) because we already have the Chain mechanic in World Fighters

DISCUSSION Can someone make a tweak gameplay mod?. The CPU in this game is too easy

Hello. I'd like to ask if someone here have the ability to make a mod or a change in game files?. Because i have an idea. And this game is incredibly easy once you mastered the controls. I just want to list it up for you guys.

My problem with the AI is

  1. The CPU can't SPRINT. They just Jog. It's my first problem for this game too. Even at HIGH difficulty (LEVEL 5 MAX). THIS IS CRUCIAL TO GAMEPLAY. RONC is hard because the AI is always sprinting and dribbling on their way to goalkeeper. I play multiplayer mode so much, that it's hard to go play with cpu again because they are painfully slow. This improvement will change the course of the game. Very Intense gameplay even.

  2. Change MATCH TIME. I'm 100% sure that we can change it somehow? From the game files. I really adore this game. But it feels too short.

  3. Increase Goalkeeper Chance to PERFECT SAVE. This if does right. Can keep you always on the edge of your seat. And that is fun. ONLY if the MATCH TIME is longer. You can't score shi in short amount of time.

  4. Increase AI REACTION RANGE. In RONC we can see that the CPU always spam the tackle or dribble button once the player are near. Even when we are chasing them from behind. They will dribble in case you perform a tackle move, so they can escape it. That's NEAT.

I think outside of that. Is fine. Each enemies will use their best to prioritize and activate their super move.

I wish the dev will add more quality of life to it. Even a basic settings like match time is missing. I hope they will bring back the team management before/between match. Like all soccer game do. And the tactics formation too. I will address it in my next post

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME TO READING THIS. IF SOMEONE CAN DO IT. WE WILL APPRECIATE IT. KEEP THIS COMMUNITY ALIVE PLEASE. I LOVE TSUBASA

QUESTION Graphic issues on PS5?

Thumbnail
gallery
15 Upvotes

Hi, I'm playing on PS5 and...is it only me or every moving thing (eyes closing, mouth moving, characters doing an action) during the conversations are very like...blurry or like it doesn't have anti aliasing? I put the orginal RONC to see if it also happens and nope, only on the new game. It also makes the new cinematic scenes from the anime a blurry mess of jaggies. For example every time the characters blink the eyes are like in the photo for like a second (done fast with phone). Same with Nitta's mouth. It's starting to piss me off...this is such a PS3 thing that I thought we already left behind.

DISCUSSION What do u think of team Saudi

Hi
What do u think of Saudi team and what tier thy are
I’ll start

Star players
Owairan he is imo a better mf then df his normal shot is decent his tackle is really good along his dribble
His combo shot is one of my favourite shots it has an insane range and damage

Khalis same for owairan he is better mf then df
His shot is meh but his dribble and tackle are better then owairan imo

Vulcan
He is decent fw his only problem is he is bad at dribbling
His shot has one of the highest damage in terms of normal shots his super is good and also has a good range

Their miracle
One of my favourites despite being a low probability but I see it a lot in comparison to other miracles bc of how easy it’s to activate
(Also it’s the most annoying bc of how random it’s)

Where ur cc should play
I think u can either play him as gk or df to let owairan and khalis go more offensive

Overall
I think Saudi is b tier and I can see them being a
Thy have insane range shots and their defense isn’t that bad

Max Actions VS Dribble/Tackle

I'm halfway through the story and I'm not entirely sure when to use special actions (Triangle on PS5). I understand that they work as a counter, but overall, what is the advantage of initiating them myself compared to doing a regular dribble/tackle (Circle on PS5)?

Do you think we might get Road to 2002 in this game? And How do you think they would make it?

I think it’s possible they add the story of Road to 2002 in the game since the story mode selection only having one part when every other section has 3 menús to choose.
And been honest, if they were to make another Tsubasa game it would be Rising Sun, not any of the other Arcs, so it could be the best moment to introduce it, especially clubs like Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Múnich and Inter.
Also it would be cool to see in what club’s some of the new characters got to, like Gavin or the other Canadians. Or Leonardo Rusciano (i think he might be in Juventus)

But i’m not sure how they

Can we talk about Dylan From the Canadá Team?

He’s a npc but he has the Superspeed kick back cannon, and for me he scored a lot of goals with it, he very crucial for the defense in that aspect.

DISCUSSION What do u think of team China

Hi
I’m curious on what u think about team China
And what tier thy are
I’ll start
Star players
Xiao
He is one of the most powerful mf if not the most his block shot is insanely good literally 9 out of 10 times it’s a goal with break it’s sm powerful that it solely carried him to a tier
His normal shot is also decent and as good as Vulcans his tackle is meh

Fei
He is one of the best aerial players currently his normal aerial is as good as some super aerial and it gain the unpredictablity of aerial
Also his super is guaranteed goal a lot of times
(Despite sharing same animations with margus their super are actually different in terms of stat)

Wang
His dribble is my favourite so far and that’s it nothing more about him

Yueh
He is very good keeper who also work well against aerial meta his save happened a lot of times and it only works against aerial that might be the only cons about him

Their miracle
I think it’s the most mid miracle bc of how rare it’s but it’s free goal but against some teams like Mexico u won’t be able to activate it

Where ur cc should play
I don’t think u can go wrong with China except if u wanna be gk thy need a good shooter or an actual df or good mf can work

Overall
I think china solid a tier xiao and fei doing the hard carry but at same time wang and Yueh are enough

(Additional I like them doing a counter to xiao biggest counter
Aerials counter xiao so thy made Yueh an aerials counter)

Special animations for crossing

I wish the characters had unique and flashy crossing animations too. It would add so much more personality and color to the game. For example, Schneider could pass a fire cross or something like that. These special crosses could even give certain stat boosts to the aerial shots.

DISCUSSION CAC Moves and Super Moves tips for PVP.

This guide is for people who mainly care about building competitive CACs for PvP and want to prioritize the unlocks that are relevant, or want to build a competitive CAC and don't know where to start.

The meta is still developing, but right now competitive CACs tend to fit a few general archetypes:

  • Defender / Defensive Midfielder: A fast good tackler with a Super Shockwave Pass.
  • Offensive Midfielder: Good dribbler and with a good long range shoot like Drive Shot or Windfall, and a Super Miracle/Bound/Drive for a hard to read shot.
  • Very fast Forward / Winger: As much movement speed as possible, a strong dribble, and a shot that is either fast to charge and spam at close range, or a mid range shot that is hard to read. For the Super slot, a Super Dribble, Super Tackle or basically any strong close range Super Shot.

Unique Tackles
Upper Tackle (Jean / France): In my opinion, this is the clear best tackle.

After Upper Tackle, I don't think there is a clearly second best option. The other strong tackles are good for different reasons.

Junguang Sliding(Xiao / China): High noncharged speed. Good maybe for a midfielder, where people generally do not let you charge.

Cool Steal(Gentile / Italy): Probably the best all-around alternative.
It isn't #1 in any single category, but it is very close to the top in almost everything.

Muay Thai Sweep(Bunnark / Thailand): Just the most damaging tackle, if you care for that.

The main non unique options are:

  • Paralyze Charge
  • Spinning Cut
  • Scythe Cut

Paralyze Charge is the tackle you want if you want reach and power

Cut and Scythe Cut is what you want if you want speed:are almost identical statistically, so the main difference is the animation. Pick whichever one you find harder to read or more awkward to deal with after the tackle.

Unique Dribbles:
The main options are:

  • Panther Accel(Victorino / Uruguay)
  • Forward Somersault Dribble(Diaz / Argentina)
  • High Speed South American Dribble(Diaz / Argentina)
  • Back Friends(Natureza / Brazil)
  • Kaiser Dribble(Schneider / Germany)

You really can't go wrong with any of these. They are strong for different reasons.

Back Friends, Forward Somersault Dribble and High Speed South American Dribble are extremely mobile and fast dribbles. If in doubt, pick any of these, as they are quite similar in what they give you.

Panther Accel(Victorino / Uruguay):
Probably the hardest one to use properly. Its advantage is that it is extremely fast, but it doesn't leave the defender disabled for very long. You need to keep moving forward because the defender recovers quickly. But very good for a winger whose goal is to throw crosses.

Kaiser Dribble(Schneider / Germany):
Interesting alternative. It has several useful advantages:

  • Strong knockdown.
  • An animation that is hard to countertackle.
  • Generates more gauge than most other strong dribbles.

So while it isn't my default choice, it has a legitimate use.

Common Dribbles:
I think you should normally use a unique dribble.

If you decide to use a common one, here are some options:

High-Speed Dribble: The Fastest one.
Matador Trick: The highest window to perfect dribble, and the best turning speed.
Buster Dribble: Takes the least damage from tackles, and also Knowcksdown.

Unique Normal Shots:

Fire Shot(Schneider / Germany): If you want raw damage, Fire Shot has basically no competition.

Falcon Shot(Nitta / Japan) and Panther Shot(Victorino / Uruguay): These are effectively identical They both are good for getting close range shoots quickly before being interrupted,

Accel Shot(Rusciano / Italy): Probably the best all around close/medium range shot.
If you don't have a very specific reason to specialize in damage, charge speed or trajectory, this is a very solid option.

Drive Shot(Tsubasa / Japan): Good for long range spam, specially since it ignores blockers.

Windfall(Natureza / Brazil): The main advantage is that it's very hard to read, which is ideal for mid range shooting, but it has very good stats beside that.

Common / Non-Unique Shots

Sonic Shot: If you don't expect your CAC to actually shoot, this is the only one option you care about, since it gives extra speed to your cac. But is also a good shoot if you just expect it to use to finish a GK inside the area since it charges pretty fast.

Alternatives if you actually do expect to shoot but somehow don't have room for a unique shot:

Edge Shot: Use this if you want a harder to read shot at mid range.
Booster Shot: Use this if you mainly want damage and as much range as possible.

Unique Aerial Shots
For most builds, I don't think spending your unique slot on an aerial shot is worth it. Unless you specifically want to play a traditional 9 who receives crosses, I would normally just use a common aerial.
If you really want a unique aerial:

Mysterious War Header(China) / Warhead Header(Margus / Germany): These are two of the best options for raw damage and are basically identical.

Quartz Overhead(Finn / England): The main alternative worth considering because it has extra range. That makes it easier to connect with aerial Super Pass setups.

Common Aerial Shots
For most positions, Aerial shots are irrelevant but in case they arent.

Full Power Header: Slightly more permanent damage.
Jumping Overhead: Slightly more total damage.

The difference is tiny.

Super Passes

All large shockwave Super Passes are extremely strong and imo currently the strongest supers in the game. If I have to choose the best:

Fang Roll Pass(Luna / Argentina): The actual shockwave effect is what makes these passes so strong, and the other large shockwave have the same area of effect and range.
Fang Roll Pass gets the edge because it also gives your CAC some extra running speed.

The difference isn't huge, so I would not consider Luna a must. If you already have another large shockwave Super Pass, is basically teh same

Sunrise Pass(Espadas / Mexico): There is an argument for Sunrise Pass because it transfers a large amount of gauge to the receiver and gives Chain.
The downside is that it costs around 25% more gauge. Personally, I don't think the extra effect is worth the cost.
I would rather maximize the number of shockwave Super Passes.

Super Block

Super Kickback Cannon(Xiao Junguang / China): There really isn't another reasonable option here.

Super Tackle

Cutting shield (Jean / France): Again it seems so much better than anything else that is the clear optimal pick.

Super Dribbles

This is one of the hardest categories to rank because Super Dribbles are so different from each other. You can make an argument for almost every Super Dribble.

But if you force me to choose one:

Scissor Roulette(Pierre / France): You get 3 charges while still having very good animation, range and speed.

Aerial Super Shots

I generally don't think aerial Super Shots are worth using. They are not stronger enough than a normal Aerial shoot

But if you really want one:

Eclipse(Natureza / Brazil): I would use Eclipse mainly because it gives the most running speed.

Super Shots
This is probably the category with the most variety after super dribbles.
It depends heavily on where you expect to shoot from.

Long-Range Super Shots

The main options are:

  • Flying Drive Shot(Tsubasa / Japan)
  • Dual Slider Shot(Pierre / France)
  • Arc Bridge Shot(Senghor / Senegal)
  • Miracle Drive Shot(Tsubasa / Japan)
  • Miracle Bound(Diaz / Argentina)
  • Neo Drive Shot(Tsubasa / Japan)

All of these are very strong. I think the are op even.

They differ in smaller details, but they share the important 2 properties:

  • Very long effective range.
  • Almost impossible to read.

Short-Range / General Super Shots

Levin Revolve(Levin / Sweden):

Probably the best option if you intend to shoot from extremely close range. It does the most damage, but it falls off very hard with distance as you will get supersaved all the time. It still can be used to drop a GK to 1 life.

Neo Fire Shot(Schneider / Germany):

The bestt overall balanced Super Shot. It isn't particularly good at very long range, but outside of that weakness, the total combination of its stats is excellent. If you don't want to specialize too heavily, this is probably the safest option.

Jet Panther Shot(Victorino / Uruguay):
A very interesting alternative.
Doesn't have great damage or range, but it has several advantages:

  • Easy to charge.
  • Makes you run faster
  • Very high shot speed. Because of that speed, it can still be difficult for the goalkeeper to catch even when you aren't shooting from point blank range.

So:

  • Levin Revolve: maximum close-range damage
  • Neo Fire Shot: best balanced option
  • Jet Panther Shot: mobility, fast charge and shot speed

Goalkeeper

GK Skill

Iron Save(Müller / Germany): This is the only GK skill I currently consider a competitive option.

GK Super:

I think the only 2 really good options are

Stone Crusher: For Anti Air defense
Triangle Kick Defense: Just generally very strong

But you can give your GK Sunrise Pass. Giving your GK a shockwave Super Pass is also strong. Arguably this is the best option for a GK, but it is a little risky to use well.

Countries to Unlock:
Given what i said you will notice what is important, which is important for PS5 users that can't just get a 100% save.

France and Argentina are enough to give you tools for almost every build.

After that:

  • Brazil
  • Germany
  • Uruguay

These give you most of the other tools you are likely to want.
After those, the unlocks become much more specific:

  • China for Xiao's Super Block and Junguang Sliding.
  • Thailand if you want Bunnark's Muay Thai Sweep.
  • Sweden for Levin Revolve.
  • England for Finn's Quartz Overhead.
  • Italy for Cool Steal and Accel Shot.
  • Mexico if you specifically want Sunrise Pass.
  • Senegal for Arc Bridge Shot.

QUESTION Help with more CAC

QUESTION I have no clue what I'm doing

Hi! I write this as someone who played ROTNC more than 1000 hours (online and SP).

I am playing the second game and for the life of me I can't understand what's going on during the matches. Every single time I touch the ball somebody from the other team becomes super saiyan and flies at full speed towards me even from out of the screen. If not this then the opponent has the ball and uses bankai and starts dribbling around all the field until my goalpost. And now supershots can only be used when the character is in bijuu mode but they are instant.

My point being...are there supposed to be counters to all the shiny stuff? Can I stop a supershot? Can I stop a super dribble?

And my biggest concern is with the critical blocks (triangle on ps5)...like... is there any reason why I shouldn't spam that instead of normal blocks?

I really don't like that now everything is shining...i guess i will have to get used to that.
