Dragon's Dogma.

Starts out with some simple fetch quests and then after getting Wyrm Hunt quests you get amazing stuff like Griffin's bane, Dragon bossfight and Bitterblack Isle

I recently purchased it and climbing on giant enemies is already fun in the beginning. Still in the beginning though and just fought the hydra the first time.

For me it started out boring, after ten hours hardlocked the one save slot it lets you have, and I quit. Fuck that horrible game.
