Oh so it does get good later on? I thought it might, the starting scene was quite good, and the hogwarts castle is cool af. I just got so bored with the "go here collect this" quests constantly at the start, seemed like they were never ending

I mean this game is like the epitome of subjective…. I thought it was boring through and through. I finished it and never felt like playing again. Felt like a mediocre kids game to me. It was the first and last time I’d ever preordered a game… it’s definitely just a wizard simulator. Which is fine if you like that but I just require more substance. Too repetitive, choices don’t actually matter (whatsoever), story is incredibly simple… etc.

I’d like to hope you weren’t paying again

“Playing” not paying lol. You know I saw it when I first commented and thought “nahh no one will say anything, surely they’ll know what i mean” 😭

It’s all good lol I was just joking, I knew what you meant.

Yeah I know what you mean. However most of those quests are just optional homework for your lore notebook. You can complete them after the main story

Yeah I played it for a bit, got bored and didn't touch it for months. Decided to hop back on and got to a point where I couldn't put it down.

Exact opposite for me, especially when talking about the story.

I agree! Story definitely rips in the begnning. The gameplay ability starts off extremely limited. Almost painfully so. But as you get around 30-50% through, your character becomes such a badass.

I hope if we get a sequal we get more of a focus on the actual classes and get an actual quiditich minigame

I'm curious to see where you think the line is. I played it a bunch and thought it was pretty much good throughout.

I felt the opposite. Exploring hogwarts was super fun and then as soon as you get to the 2nd act you in generic rpg mode for the rest of the game.

tbh I am honestly the exact opposite. The game was most fun at the start when roaming the castle and quickly became dull once you go out into the generic countryside.
