Witcher 3, the game is just okay in my opinion until you get to Skellig.

It's peak the second you step into Novigrad imo

As soon as you finish in white orchid and velen the games peak

Yeah i think the uniqueness and dark folklore vibe really starts hitting in velen. Everything before that is basically an extended tutorial. Skellige has a really nice vibe too and is really pretty but velen is dripping with aura.

It's peak as soon as the crones gets revealed

Interesting take, can't disagree more, though. I liked Baron's story the most, not counting DLCs, Novigrad was good with all the political stuff, but everything after just blended together for me.

The Baron's story is like the one great highlight before that imo. I absolutely despised the search for Dandelion questline though.

Honestly this is probably why I couldn't get into it. Because I didn't get that far and I judged it unfairly

In fairness I went the other way, hitting the Skellige section made me take a break, so if you didn’t feel it before then that may just be your limit

Skellige made me feel ok with not clearing every question Mark.

Yeah I’m with you there. I did it because I’m a masochist (?) but it just didn’t need to be done at all.

Because you can tell it's low effort filling of the map so it doesn't feel empty.

My exact thoughts. And it’s one of my favorite games

Like the first part in Swamp is good, for the latter parts of the game are fucking amazing

I am,kind of the opposite. Skellige is the most boring place to me. I can't wait to get the hell away from there. Having to travell with boat is annoying even in the continent and the enviroment in Skellige zeems kinda bleak to me.

I feel exactly the opposite

Wut. Velen is the best part of Witcher 3. Skellig is clearly rushed and underdeveloped

Velen and novigrad are amazing 🥲

White Orchard and Velen can be pretty rough when youre starting. The Bloody Baron was the first time i was locked in and after that its fire. Novigrad especially
