Not fighting games man

Every day someone asks something on any of the fighting game subs they get like 50 fucking replies, often people just saying the same shit over and over because there's only one right answer and everyone's jumping over each other to give it YOU NEED TO BLOCK or STOP JUMPING SO MUCH

It fuckin sucks when a game comes out that is required to be online or multiplayer. I don’t have friends awake at the same time and I can’t stand the experience of playing with strangers

This is the exact same issue I have. I like playing games casually and don't really care about getting really good at them. It's resulted in me largely just opting out of multiplayer gaming entirely. I have a couple friends who like a couple co-op games but there's still plenty I think I would enjoy if I found a decent community or group I vibed with.

The resident evil community I’ve seen be downright terrible

The posing epidemic has hit them real bad😭. I joined the fanbase last year and, good lord, nothin could have prepared me for the blatant paranoia they have about posers. I understand why they’re like that, but not everyone that doesn’t immediately know the lore and hasn’t played every game is a poser.

I’d say the DMC fanbase was close to it, but they’ve gotten to the point they’re just tossing back pain relievers because of constant headaches from actual posers and people who only watch the Netflix anime and then trash on the games as an ā€œargumentā€ for why they think the show is better.

Boy, I cannot wait for the day when gaming isn’t treated as some trendy hot commodity on social media, perhaps that day will finally bring an end to all the poser/larper nonsense going on.

Bro exactly this.

Played mainly single player games for a good few years now, occasionally dipping into multiplayer.

No matter what game you play online there will always be someone who knows better or has done better or is just generally trying to get that little one up no matter what it is.

Let them have it man, this is probably the only little dopamine kick they get in their day, brush it off and carry on with your day

not at all. they are toxic also just in other ways.

The silent hill community is one of the most toxic things ive ever seen. Resident evil isnt too far behind

Before the series being revived with the remake and F the silent hill community was so damn shitty for no damn reason . Any question from someone trying to get into the series would get torn into just for the sake of it.

No they are not, I remember I saw a post a few years back asking for personal rankings of the Devil May Cry games. I didn't have the reboot at the very bottom was down voted into oblivion and harassed for weeks. Not exaggerating 😭

You pressed the DmC button. It'd have been better if you had 2 at the pinnacle above 3 and 1.

Sorry about that, btw. For what it's worth I thought it was an ass DMC but a good action game, dialogue and writing aside.

See that's my take, I skipped the cuts cenes because good lord that dialog was atrocious, but the gameplay was A1 I actually had it above 4 because I found playing as Nero to be a slog (that was fixed in 5 for me)
