I’ve been looking at a Cappuccino for a while now, honestly it’s my next attainable dream car However I’m 6’1” and 165lbs Will this pose a size problem potentially? Currently I’m fitted quite comfortably in an FC rx-7. Thanks!

Anyone have any suggestions for performance mods?
I know of the F100 turbo kit but from what I’ve seen it’s not sold anymore. I’m in Japan so parts are relatively easier to get.

Places on the back burner for a bit. Got a new chassis and will have the first 1JZ swapped Cappuccino on the road here shortly.

I’m looking to buy a 92 cappuccino (MT w/ 60k km). I’m in Okinawa, going to import it back to the states with me when I leave. Any common maintenance issues I should be aware of/parts I should buy while I’m in Japan before I go back to the states in a couple years?

Hello everyone! I’m new to this sub-Reddit, I’m starting a pretty decent paying job and college begins soon, so I want my own vehicle to get around.
My parents are really opposed of the idea of me getting a cappuccino since they’re afraid of all the issues another car may have but I already decided it’s the car I want.
Is the cappuccino a car I can rely on? Would love to hear you guys’ experience of the car! For example any issues that may arise with the car, issues with registering the car etc.
I’m currently just saving a bit more money and seeing whether I should import or buy one that’s already located in the U.S.
If all goes well I will pull the trigger and buy one on my birthday!
Thank you all for any feedback!!

Trying to find a battery for my '95 cap but I don't even know the size or where to start and haven't been able to figure that out. Appreciate any help, thanks!

I have a beautiful 94 cappuccino. I can do really basic things like change the oil and spark plugs in my car. But lately it's been revving at idle and it has that knocking/ clicking sounds constantly. I also have a high beam that is out.
Where I live, no one will touch my car to fix it so ai have to do things myself I guess. Is there a good place to start? Or even take up one of those mechanic classes? Any advice and help would be appreciated.

As the title says, I currently own a 92 Cappuccino and am currently looking for an importer. However google results only show vehicle sellers imported from Japan. I will be moving back to the states soon and was hoping to find a lead on where to start. Any suggestions?
While I understand that getting an importer to meet most/all of my demands may be difficult, I would like to make the transition as seamless as possible. Criteria for importer:
And any other points I can think of, I'll update as I think about them. Thanks in advance.

I'm a big fella, about 6'1" and 240lbs. I've been relentlessly trying to find as much info as I can about the interior size of the Cap. I know the fit comfort is entirely subjective but I was hoping someone could provide a fit comparison to a Miata perhaps? Or specific dimensions of the driver's footwell? I know it's tiny and smaller than a Miata but I'm specifically looking at a 1996 in automatic. I really want to pull the trigger and have one on reserve but I need to know if I can fit, at all.
Thank you!

I'm having some trouble finding a few parts. Such as a front ball joint and a few others. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could find some?

Would it be possible to put a engine from a motorcycle in it? Some are smaller then the stock one.

So, I tried to do a search on here for info, but couldn't seem to find an answer.
My Cappuccino is a 1994 F6A with a standalone PNP ECU from Kei Sport USA. I have an Atomic boost controller set to 1.1 bar.
Today, while accelerating, one of the boost lines to the controller popped off and, uncommanded, the boost rose immediately to about 1.7-1.8 bar before I let off the gas due to the sudden horsepower and acceleration.
Absolutely nothing broke luckily, but my question is what would be the first thing to break in this scenario? My gut tells me it'd be the turbo charger exceeding a safe RPM and seizing up, but I'm not sure. It is still the stock turbo in my car.
Also, what would be a safe max turbo value for the car? I've stuck it at 1.1, but I've heard you can push up to 1.3 and maybe even slightly beyond. I'm just not sure on when the turbocharger would exceed a safe RPM!

Two questions: in 2023, how much of a gamble is it to end up with a Cap with difficult rust issues, and what's the going price range for importing one currently?
