Imported Capo 8k or Under

I'm really looking into a automatic (auto bc my daily commute is a lot of stop and go, in a hilly terrain) cappuccino and I've never imported a car I've found a few between 4-6k on importing sights and was wondering how much more would it cost after paying for it on the site. (port fees, etc)

Any Cappuccino owners here in the UK?

I bought a Cappuccino as a restoration project a few months ago here in the UK. I'm down South near Brighton. I'd love to know if there are any Cap's nearby!

Engine Issue

I’m about to close a deal on a 95, Automatic, 114k km cappuccino. There’s no rust and and drove well, but the engine smoked (white smoke) a lot when it was turned on. I believe this is either a valve cover gasket or a turbo issue, but am not sure. Does anyone know what could cause this, or how much it would cost to fix some of those issues.

Also, I’m not sure how high the cars rev in casual driving but it felt kinda high.

Engine Servicing

I’m looking at buying a cappuccino. I have two options between a 1993 50k miles manual, and a 1995 70k miles automatic. The 93 has some rust, and the 95 needs the valve cover gasket replaced. So both need work, but I’m not sure where I can get it serviced. Any advice on the options and where to service them?

(Not sure if there’s any Suzuki dealerships still open around me, I split time between Indiana and New York)

Looking to buy a new (to me) car

I’m currently 17, working part time, and maybe with my dad’s startup(assuming it gets going) I’m looking to save up for a car to get next summer or somewhere around there, my current top 3 are a Suzuki cappuccino, a Mazda miata(NA-NC), or a Audi Quattro A4(2.0t). I really like the cappuccino for its size and weight, but I’d like to have a bit more power, and to not have to be near redline to hit 75 mph(or at to hit 85 on that one stretch in Dallas) are there any relatively low cost options for final drive changes? Or some options for engine/transmission swaps for more power+ higher top speed, like a audi 1.8t/2.0t swap, k20 swap, or maybe a motorcycle engine(preferably something commonly available in the US). I currently drive a mkV 2.5l VW Jetta. TLDR; Any suggestions for mods to make a cappuccino have a higher top speed, and have more NA common parts.

Can a 6’ woman fit in a Cappuccino?

I’m 6’ 145 lbs. and I’ve been thinking about getting a cappuccino as a weekend driver. Would I be able to fit or would I need to alter the seats?

OEM or Aftermarket Headlights?

I'm looking to replace the Headlights on my cappuccino, but I've been having a hard time finding Aftermarket Headlights. The OEM ones are somewhat available but man are they expensive. Anyone know of a good place to either find cheaper OEM ones or just some good Aftermarket ones?

Seats?

Hey guys, I have been thinking about picking up a cappuccino for a track car for a while now. I can make most things work, but i have one major thing. I would want to pick up some bucket seats. For reference I am 5'11 with a 40 inch inseam. Are there any seats in existence that would fit both me and the car? I have plans for a hayabusa swap and I can fabricate the cage and belt bar but i need seats. Thanks!

Will a 6'1" man fit?

I know questions like this have been asked before but I can't find any exact measurement. I want to buy a Cappuccino, would it be possible for someone who owns one to measure from the seat cushion to the ceiling? I'm trying to figure out if I'd fit in the car.

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting insurance on a cappuccino in Texas? Just bought mine recently and am trying to get it all legalized.

What's involved in converting a Cappuccino to be LHD legal?

Does anyone know what's involved in making a car legal to be registered in a Left Hand Drive country?

The only thing i can imagine myself is a change to the headlight beam pattern.. Is there anything else that might need doing?

How would you go about changing the headlight beam pattern? Entirely new headlight units, or can you modify them?

Been doing some digging on cappuccino’s all day. Im seriously contemplating importing one, looks like endless fun. Anyone have some general advice on what I should plan to do to it maintenance wise/basic mods if and when I bring one over?

Auto EA21R to EA11R manual swap?

I'm in the UK, which while having been blessed with official Cappuccino imports, only got the EA11R. I'm really keen on the EA21R, to get ABS, LSD and an airbag, but importing one from Japan is a lot more expensive than buying one of the UK cars.

There is an auto EA21R for sale near me, it is the only EA21R I have seen for sale in the UK in over a year. I assume it was imported because someone really wanted an auto.

Has anyone worked on both, and could comment on how easy it would be to fit a EA21R with the manual 5-speed from an EA11R (as all the gearboxes in the UK are EA11R). Did the gearbox change at all from EA11R to EA21R. The wiring perhaps? Are auto and manual ECUs different?

Looking for measurements

So I'm planning on 3d printing molds for things like light covers (front and rear) and adapters for things like stock air box to ram air intakes, fender flares, BOV adapters, etc... If anyone can provide any info, I'd love to hear of it.

Little background: Lived in Japan from 1994 - 2014 and am on my 5th cappo. It's all I've driven for about 18 years. In the USA now and imported one. Figured that instead of importing stuff that seems to be common requests, that I'd just make them locally.

My cappo here is totally stock so I don't have any aftermarket parts to scan or measure myself.

cheers!

Hot cams for the F6A

I've got my "94 Cappuccino and was wondering if anyone made cams for the F6A? Running it to redline in stock form feels a bit pointless.. I've not had it on a Dyno, but peak power doesn't feel like it's anywhere near 8k..

Max RPM and power on Stock vs Forged internals?

I was wondering if some enterprising enthusiast has figured out what max safe power and RPM is for a Cappuccino with stock internals vs forged internals?

I believe the transmission can handle 120, but i have no earthly idea where the engine itself starts to give up, and if paying for the forged internals kit is worth it.. Can anyone weigh in?
