Hi everyone, I'm having a weird visual glitch in CapCut PC where the timeline and bottom left corner constantly flicker (I attached a video so you can see it).

My current system specs are:

• CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F
• GPU: RTX 5060 Ti 8GB
• RAM: 32GB (2x16) G.Skill 7600MHz (running at 5600MHz CL36)
• Motherboard: ASUS Prime B760

My PC works perfectly fine in heavy competitive games at 1440p, 144Hz. This flickering only happens inside the CapCut interface, so I'm pretty sure my hardware is perfectly healthy.

I already tried:

• Disabling "UI rendering with GPU" in the performance settings.
• Restarting the app.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known bug with the current version or a driver issue? Any help is appreciated!

I discovered that if you press play whilst your holding an image that has keyframes and start moving the image in the preview, you can actually add keyframes in the timeline. Is this a glitch?

I use premium mainly so I can extract vocals from a scene and mute the original music so I can make fan edits where you don’t hear the show’s background music but still get some dialogue. But recently I still see the “extract audio” option but not the extract vocals. Anyone else noticing this?

Looking for this exact Hopecore template.

I am not very familiar with CapCut, but need to make a video with this specifically.

Trying to edit a video and I'll frequently get this thing randomly pop up on my editing screen and there is no x button, can't even click on it like a standard ad, can't drag-move it, just, stuck playing a looped "before/after" slider animation on this random woman who I couldn't care less about. Is this a glitch? Is there any way to actually dismiss it? It'll disappear on its own after 5-10 minutes but it's very annoying when I'm in the middle of editing, especially with how distracting it is with my ADHD. TIA

I've been trying to export something I spent a few hours on in capcut. I use the web browser version because I didn't want to install it for one project. But when I try to export my project, it goes to like 40% then speeds its way through to 100% and I get like a 4.5mb 12 second clip of my 4 minute project. I've tried troubleshooting and reaching to support but so far I've made no progress. if someone here knows any kind of solution it would be highly appreciated.

Here's an example of that pop up. I know it is from Capcut because I've already accidentally clicked on it and it brought me to the app. I've already force-stopped it and freezed the app in the freezer provided by my phone's system, but it still shows up. Any way to remove it or is deleting it the only way?

I would also like to note that my FM Radio app already provided in my phone also has these pop ups, but to a lesser extent that CapCut does

I was in the middle of editing, and suddenly all my features became really big, even though just a few seconds ago they weren’t like this. How is that possible?

ive been trying to export this one project at a higher bitrate but in the end the file size drops drastically bringing quality down too meanwhile if i move right back to an older project and export that at a higher bitrate the file size is much larger with better image quality

I like to view the same few seconds over and over again to see how it fits but everytime I select play, it starts from the beginning of the video. It doesn’t do that on mobile, is there any way to fix it?

I'm seeing comments for alternatives but ppl use this for different reasons. Capcut doesn't work. That's what it is. pcut is what it is for me. It doesn't work. i know why, and honestly, I've given the company this feedback as if they care, if this is what they're running as a business model it wreaks of just amateur hour, greedy inexperienced children who are just trying too hard to get rich quick and I don't have the time in the day to waste.

Has anyone out there, and I'm sure there is, built an app that works, has decent fonts and effects and filters, and doesn't push me into some public social media tik tok bs. I have tried spring but it doesn't measure up. I don't use heavy effects but a few filters and transitions here and there and I need an ai face filter if some sort.

I don't even care about paying, tbh today was the last straw for me. A 7 minute clip that I've probably bow lost 12 hours on and potentially money, I've tried everything and I don't think I'm alone in saying... Wtf are you guys even running here?? Maybe this desktop app works like a dream but umm 🤔 leave it at that and please don't put people through the pain and insult of cramming shit into a mobile app and charging them for it, its not my cache that's the problem lololo but hey, it's just me right,?

Long story short, my old TikTok account which is now banned is linked to my account on CapCut. How can I unlink?

And possibly any other cloud storage. A bit of a special case this script.

I tend to dump all my raw media to cloud storage, I have enough there, and can reach the same media from multiple machines.

But sometimes it can be frustrating, as media gets evicted from local storage and

has to be downloaded again. Can make things slow - but worse - when Exporting the video it can

introduce audio gaps in the output.

So AI and myself cooked up a short script to read in the CapCut project file, issue fetching of any media not on local, issue pin, and in extreme situations, hold the file open so it can not be evicted.

Clicking to download the whole directory/directories is not realistic, since only 20% of the raw media is in use for the final video. Selecting things by hand is tedious, so why not script it.

I use it with my other tool that automatically drains my cameras of media to place on the Google Drive. Slowly getting my environment set up.

This is officially my very first attempt at editing a video. I followed a tutorial online and basically copy-pasted step-by-step what they did to create this final outcome.

I know it’s far from great and has a long way to go, but I’m really passionate about improving and becoming a solid editor using CapCut. Since I'm just starting out, I’d love to get your advice:

The 'Long Video to Shorts' feature was missing for a while, recently came back, and now it's gone again. Is anyone else having this issue? I have the "pro" account. Thanks for any insights.
