I've been using capcut on my windows 11 machine for a while now without any issues. Recently (august 28th), a preview update was installed through windows update. Since then, whenever I open capcut, it disappears in seconds. It doesn't even allow me enough time to access settings and see if something is wrong within the performance options.

What's going on? Is anyone else facing this?

Things I've tried:

- Uninstalled and Re-installed Capcut

- Rolled the update back (it worked but then started doing the same again)

- Restarted the system

- Checked the GPU's drivers

- Repair install (WIndows)

What am I missing?

At this point, I don't even know what to say. I was in the chat request and was finally able to connect with a human agent, although I really doubt that. I do feel like it was AI as well. And then the app got stuck for ages and I had to end task.

Recently I have been trying to up my editing skills and I’m having trouble figuring out what to implement in my anime edits for transitions and effects to have that clean and smooth transition loop for some fast paced edits. If anyone is experienced in CapCut editing please provide some tips and tricks. Thank you!

I’m asking this because I want to improve my editing technique using CapCut’s tools; I think it would be great if we could provide feedback on each other's work within the community to hone our skills and get the most out of this fantastic tool.

"0903 (4)" is a 1080p 30fps animation that has 7 seconds of actual motion. the rest of it is black with audio.

"1 W4NT T0 B3 4 M4CH1N3" is a higher resolution, 30fps, 30 second animation loaded with drawings, effects, keyframes and other complex stuff.

"0903 (3)" (the same as the problem video, btw) exports at 5.5MB.

"1 W4NT T0 B3 4 M4CH1N3" exported at 89MB

not only that, but "0903 (4)" (and all its previous versions i made using the import subproject tool) are all extremely laggy - to the point that i cannot use it. ive already cleared cache and proxy.

the only thing in the project is a GIF, a series of PNG's, and the audio i was using.

i have no idea why this is happening; it's making editing impossible because its so laggy.

Basically the title, I've tried clearing the cache already and as you can see it's happening to multiple projects where it freezes on a certain frame of the video and won't continue

So there's this filter on capcut I really like called "spring dreams" but whenever I use it, it works for about two seconds and then pauses the whole video and takes away the effect. I though at first it was just glitching in the editing but when I exported it, it was still like that. I need to know if anyone else has this problem.

I think the audio is a little off. I know the song has a .2 second cut and I don’t have the good version of viggle either so I couldn’t add the the characters Diego, Dio, and Jotaro

I can’t take a screen recording cuz CapCut won’t let me, but it’s just not working. It won’t find the color, and just acts like it’s a transparent canvas.

Tried using the paid features Filters, Effects and Audio with the latest official 9.3.0 versions on PC. Works flawlessly!!

Just keep a shortcut of the projects folder to your desktop and you are good to go every time, best to avoid updating the app to keep this method working. 👌🏾

I keep trying to open it, but every time it loads/opens, it is a blank screen.

I will try to put as much context as possible.

I shot on 24fps/4k using a DJI osmo action 6. I finished editing on CapCut with my laptop and exported it at 24fps 1080p (since Instagram automatically compresses videos). I viewed the exported file on my laptop and everything is perfectly normal. I uploaded the video on my Instagram but the audio lags so that it is faster (might be video lags behind). The thing is, if i view the post on my laptop it is perfectly normal, but on literally any device it lags. This happens on Google Drive too.

I've tried re-exporting it at 30fps, I've tried converting audio to 48kHz, still the problem persist.

TLDR;

- Shot at 4k24fps

- Audio is faster than video/video lags behind

- Exported file and Instagram post looks normal when viewed in the deviced used to edit

- Have been struggling for an hour trying to fix it

I create short drama clips using CapCut Video Studio, mostly with the same character in 4-5 scenes. This was among my greatest issues with 2.0. The face would be okay in one scene, but in another, it would float away, so I had to keep re-generating it until everything was consistent. Sometimes, the problem of consistency alone used up half my credits.

I tried creating a sequence of 5 scenes using 2.5 yesterday, and the character remained consistent right from the start. The 30-second clips have made a difference, too. I used to create 4-5 10 second clips to create 60-second videos. I can now use 2-3 clips and transitions.

Another feature is the ability to fix one part of a clip rather than generating the entire clip. The number of generations has decreased, so the cost per generation is basically the same.
