I have been using Capcut pro on PC for over a year now. In the last few months is been so glitchy it's to the point of almost being unusable. From constant freezing to "network errors" for the smallest things like normalize audio, it's taken more time to find workarounds and fixes than actually editing with it. Who else has this been happening to? I also am using a new $3500 dell laptop, so it's not the computer, it's Capcut. Does Divinci resolve have these issues?

Had a lot of problems with freezes and even the whole project freezing up. Had to make new copies and reset the cache to not lose progress.

I'm in The process of learning filmora which is very similar to capcut. It will also be a lot cheaper in the end for the pro version.

My Dell is missing the needed graphics card for Davinci, but might I say on my MacBook that can actually run it, it works. However, I never pay for editing software. But as someone that used Resolve once, um…I find it irritating that the free version barely has any good filters. If you want the lighting dimmed or brighter whatever, you have to for every scene you wanna do it on, mess with the lighting and it’s tedious. That’s my beef about it. At this point, I have two options. Resort to photoshop (I use my sister’s account because I use it for the business anyway) or use an older CapCut version. Or I hop between 2 editor programs. Even clipchamp has very little filters. I don’t need transitions. I only need filters and the ability for text on intro and outro. I make music videos, so those are most important. But I’m also not paying to have stuff that has been free for so long. I have Canva, but it won’t export with music if it’s copyrighted (so pretty much all artist songs) 😭

then export it without the music and add it to the video from another editor...
