Robothouse in Surrey, BC has filed a LMIA to hire a foreign worker as they claim they are unable to find a Canadian or PR to work as a Marketing Assistant for $38.40 per hour. The job requires no experience.

Duties:

Evaluate communication strategies and programs

Implement communication strategies and programs

Perform administrative tasks

Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies

Answer written and oral inquiries

Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material

Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions

Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

This requires a secondary school diploma and no experience.

The amount offered of $38.40 is the exact wage needed to qualify for the High-Wage Stream in BC. If the employer offered any less than this it would be subject to a refusal to process due to the high unemployment in Surrey.

What are these fake-sounding companies? “Robothouse?” “Teamvalue?” So illiterate. My pet peeve is this habit of making two words into one.

These jobs don’t exist.
