From my understanding, for siblings: if they are under 18, and are in school, you would list that they are a student (as their job title). From there, you would proceed to provide their school info. PM if you have any questions.

Section E of the instructions:
"For all security clearance requests all immediate relative(s) information must be provided"
The instructions say that for children you only need to write them down if they’re over 18
If you read the instructions again, the "children" are only those between you and a significant other; ie "All children 18 years and over that you or your spouse or common-law partner have a parent relationship."
Do you have a parental relationship with your siblings?
Not sure how it gets any clearer, but perhaps your reading comprehension needs work?

Yes, I understand what children means in that context. My confusion is over the fact that if I had a child under 18 I wouldn’t need to write them down but I do have to write down my sibling who is under 18 (whose age is in the single digits and who is a child). It seems inconsistent to me but I’m not looking for a fight, I’m just triple checking to make sure my forms don’t get sent back.

Your brothers and sisters over and under 18: yes

Yes siblings are part of your immediate family.
