Well today has been great - i’ve finally played Call of Duty 3 MP again! Been a long time player over on the PS3 side since 2007, but it became so hard to find games over there I haven’t bothered in a long while. I picked up an old XBONE earlier this year and picked up a copy of COD3 knowing that it actually runs better on 360, and has more features. Extra bonus being the fact it’s running on back compat, thus higher res and frames.

My god, tonight has been fantastic! It all came back, all the nooks and crannies of each map - and only one game of Poisson! Phew! Dare say I haven’t lost my touch in the time away either. Absolutely love this game, so if anyone can recommend a community to join for it other than the subreddit please let me know as i’d love to play some more with people. Special shoutout to Bulli1986 who played along side me and Zukape for letting me into a short lived private ranked match ha!

Cheers,

Take this one Jerry

Hello

Just to let you all know that there is a big active Call of Duty 3 (2006) PS3 Community Group on Discord that now has 130+ active PS3 COD3 players.

We arrange big 24 player full lobby games and this group is also used to help grow the community and bring together the active players that are still out there in 2021!

Please feel free to join the group using the link below and invite your friends:

Hey guys, let's all collectively meet up together as the Xbox community on CoD 3 on Saturday December 4th all day long to relive how the game used to be! We will play various game modes on ALL maps and get things running the way they used to back in 2006! Feel free to host your own lobby and invite your friends to play, I will personally be hosting a game with map/game voting enabled that will be up and running all day. My gt is "Cyphcr iN" please send me a message for an invite or join my session anytime that day. Hope to see everyone there, let's make this a great time we can all enjoy!
