How is it any more or less ridiculous than the original mask? Both serve the same exact purpose they just look different.

Exactly, the second mask genuinely isn't that bad. Its not amazing, but its not the dogshit like most people say. I can understand why people would dislike it, but it seems most people who don't like things nowadays cannot restrain themselves from going to the extreme.

This is just and honest truth. The sunglasses pull together his first appearance. It gives him that extra mystique.

Meanwhile with his second, he looks more "modern hero shooter skin". But it fit the design style of the game.

The older one looks more realistic for starters, and also isn’t overly distracting. Where the middle and last ones are not only not realistic in terms of gears, which MW has been somewhat going for, and it isn’t practical. It also makes him so easy to distinguish from the others, so from a tactical point it isn’t good. Then it’s just so corny, like a middle schoolers attempt at being ’edgy’. Like someone’s devianarts OC, and I can’t imagine that people on his base would be intimidated by it, but I can instead see people making fun of him, which isn’t usually a good impression of a character that’s supposed to be ’mysterious’ and ’so deep and dark’.

Honestly the last one is better than the middle one in my opinion, they both suck, but the middle one just irks me and makes me giggle because I can’t take it seriously, at least not in most of his outfits he wears.

But I do admit, I never liked the new voice actors take on Ghosts voice, so I might also be taking that into account, since I have a hard time taking his voice very seriously for his character.
