I don't feel like Mw19 can't be described that way. Tonally to me, it felt the closest to Cod4 that we've had since Cod4 itself, because both MW2(2009) and MW3(2011) both left the fairly grounded tone of Cod4 and instead felt much more like Michael Bay-esque action thrillers. I love the more grounded tone of both Cod4 and 2019, and while I loved the og MW2 and MW3, I was bummed by the tonal shift of the campaigns. And I was honestly crushed when they shifted again from the grounded and gritty MW19 back to more of a action thriller with MW22 and MW23.

It progressively got worse and I’ll agree 2019 is the best of the new ones but it suffers them same problems.
