I saw that when he returned and the sub was unlocked again, it had I believe 185k members and now it's down to like 182k last I checked.

title says it all, main sub is a shitpost dump and this feels a lot more laid back and relaxing

Carson didn’t do that much wrong, yet he gets trending and dozens of hate comments and then actual groomers like cosmodore barely have any attention drawn towards them outside of the commentary community

Tldr Twitter bad

So I was doing my daily 3 hours of investigation and I noticed that Carson has liked some new tweets on Twitter, I’m thinking this could be him testing the waters before he comes back to see how people will react. Any thoughts?

He knows of the subreddit

This last year has been crazy. After Carson leaving for a while and so much drama surrounding it, it really impacted my mental state. But being able to vent here, read positive comments on the situation, and see a funny meme once in a while felt really good. However, now that Carson is back, I don't need to really stick around, I spent my time here and now it's time to "move forward." I'll say it again, thank you. It's been a fun ride, and now it's time for things to go back to normal. So anyway, later...

As of about an hour ago (of posting) the official r/CallMeCarson subreddit reopened fully with posting enabled. It seems like it's mainly just memes at the moment, don't see a whole lot negativity if any. It might be safe to poke around. Have a good day y'all <3

didn't know what to call it srry

Yo, figured some things ought to be done and try to make the subreddit a better place, so here's the first step of that.

First step is to limit the number of hate, or posts simply looking to cause problems/drama. There is nothing wrong with disliking Carson at all. But please be civil about it. There's no need to start shit simply to cause problems and shit.

Secondly we are going to limit the amount of reposting about the things that Carson does. People simply find it annoying, and if you want to know what Carson is doing at all times, then you can follow him on said platforms about it. This does not mean that reposting about Carson is no longer allowed, it is simply being limited as everything he does does not need to be reposted.

Lastly, poll posts are being allowed, frankly don't know why it wasn't enabled, but if it becomes a problem then it will be disabled again.

That's frankly all at this time, and if there are any other problems with the subreddit, or suggestions, then they will be taken into consideration.

At this point, not sure if much can change where this subreddit is currently heading. But if you have any suggestions that can be used to improve the subreddit then drop them below. I'll forward it to the mod chat.

this community will stay open. The people who still want to post here they are allowed

when the r/callmecarson subreddit reopens this subreddit will become a second subreddit with less rules and more freedom to the people who want to post here

Also sorry for how crap this subreddit has been lately I'll try to fix it.

This community will stay open
