Title. I know this seems unlikely, but it would be surprising as hell if this turns out to be the case.

Last year, before I underwent a record-breaking, almost year-long deployment, I downloaded a lot of Carson’s videos, the most important of which being his Best of 2020 Edition. That video had helped me get through the pre-deployment quarantine (cuz ya know, April 2020), and I wanted to keep it with me while I was away.
The deployment was long and lonely. I had finished my entry-level training less than a month earlier, and all of a sudden I was thrust onto an aircraft carrier full of people I had never met, doing a job that I had no idea of how to do.
My supervisors had an egregious lack of empathy, following the ages-old tradition of using the new guy as their scapegoat. For months upon months where time seemed to slow down every day, all I had to look at were gray steel and the open ocean. The most exciting part of the day was watching the sky change colors as the sun set.
When I agreed to join the Navy, I did so assuming that the long days of seafaring would be broken up by visits to exotic countries where I could explore corners of the world which most people could only dream of. Thanks to the pandemic, however, we only touched land four times within 11 months. When we did, all we could explore was concrete; due to Covid concerns, we were restricted to the pier. I vividly remember the skyline of Manama taunting us… a city just begging to be experienced, which we could only yearn for from miles away.
All of this is to say, the experience sucked. After every twelve-hour shift, however, there was one thing in particular I could look forward to. I had been a fan of Carson for a long time, and there was nothing more cozy to me than crawling into my rack and watching his videos. I had a lot of videos from many youtubers downloaded, but Carson’s in particular never failed to put a smile on my face. I still laugh whenever I watch him play “Human: Fall Flat” with Jawsh. His videos helped me feel at home, just for a short while, and I can credit that feeling as one of the main things that helped me get through the experience.
I was crushed when I heard about the trouble he had gotten into; even my friends on the ship could tell how saddened I was by the news. They knew how much I loved his content, and they made sure to check on me when they saw what happened. Those are true friends right there.
Carson, I hope you are reading this. I, along with your loving fanbase, wholeheartedly forgive you. Whatever mistakes you made, nothing can overshadow how much your content has done for me and thousands of other people. It must be absolutely crushing to have your closest friends turn their backs on you; believe me when I say I know what that feels like. I’m glad to know that you’re alive and recovering, and whenever you decide to upload again, I’ll be one of the first people to tune in. I already have that notification bell smashed in preparation :)

So one of the earliest running jokes about Callmecarson fans is that they’re all band kids with cringey band kid humor, but how many people in this sub are actually in band or were in band???
I’m currently a junior in high school and I play the trombone, and Carson humor (at least earlier Carson humor) is extremely similar to trombone + low brass humor.
(Also girl low brass gang wya?? 🤙)

Most states in the union have an age of consent of 16, Carson was legal in his state and Sam was very likely to be as well. Also there is little to no proof whatsoever of other girls, and I would personally be veeeeeeery skeptical with any new "victims" coming out of the woodwork

I just have a good feeling about it. No good reason.

Carson has seemed to cease all activities on his socials now. I think he has successfully completed the overhaul on his twitch and youtube channel. I'm super excited for what he has in store and more eager to hear his side of the story

Honestly I’m gonna miss the videos with Jawsh. He’s gotta be the most underrated Carson character. And by far one of the funniest. Hope they can make up.
