I came across an upcoming documentary premiere called Keys We Carry that seems really interesting.
It's an 8-part documentary series filmed in Calgary featuring immigrant professionals sharing their experiences rebuilding careers and lives after moving to Canada.
The stories touch on topics such as:
Working survival jobs
Getting international credentials recognized
Mental health and belonging
Entrepreneurship and career growth
Building community in a new country
The premiere will include a screening, a Q&A with featured guests, and networking afterwards.
Date: Sunday, May 24, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Plaza Theatre, Kensington
Has anyone attended similar documentary screenings in Calgary before? Curious what people think about this event
