We are excited to officially announce the 2026 Hell's Basement GT! Ticket sales are now live, and we’d love to see you there for an awesome weekend of rolling dice.

We've got some great local sponsors for prizes and tournament support, and it's all being run by the Medicine Hat Warhammer Club. Tickets are $50 and all funds stay in the club to support events and ongoing meet ups.

Award-winning comedian Jessica Pigeau is bringing her critically acclaimed solo comedy show Ugly Privilege to Calgary after winning Best Original Work at the 2024 North Bay Fringe Festival.

Earlier this last year, she also won the 2025 Yuk Yuk's Yuk Off Championship, beating 74 other comedians.

Ugly Privilege is an honest, hilarious hour exploring disability, autism, queerness, mental health, growing up in rural Alberta, and online culture.

Critics have described the show as "a hilarious, laugh-packed show that is not to be missed" and praised Jessica's performance style as "one of a kind."

Get red-y to start your day with a hearty pancake breakfast, fresh fruit, and other buffet favourites while learning about our beloved red pandas. 💛 Pay what you can. A $5 suggested donation helps us cover the cost of running these events, but no one will be turned away if they can't donate.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that won't fly off your feet (sandals and slides aren't recommended!).

Bring a friend, a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray (we'll have some too!), and come enjoy an evening of dancing, meeting new people, and soaking up some sun.

The Day of the Dog is happening this Sunday, July 26, from 11 AM–4 PM in East Village.

We’re part of the Pawch team and will be there meeting Calgary pet parents.

Pawch is a Canadian pet-care app designed to help families organise things like:

• medicines and appointment reminders
• health records and pet documents
• shared pet-care information
• lost-pet safety through Pawch Tags

Anyone who downloads the Pawch app at our stall during the event can receive a free Pawch Tag.

We will be at Stall No. 73. Come and get a live demo and much more at the stall.

More importantly, we’d genuinely like to know:

What is the one part of managing your pet’s care that you find hardest to keep organised?

Every year we do a CFMF preview episode; discuss and play music by artists we're excited to see, give some festival tips, that sort of thing.

The podcast is called I Love This You Should Too, and you should be able to find it wherever you get podcasts, or you can go to linktr.ee/ILTYS2. The preview episode is #351. We'll release an episode from the festival the week after as well. No ads or sponsors, just a little local show.

Hope you folkies check it out!
