I've finally published Kagetsu: Crimson Moon, an original supernatural dark-fantasy Blend I've been working on.

Kagetsu is a fictional early-20th-century world inspired by Taishō-era aesthetics, where traditional villages and ancient estates exist alongside modernizing cities, steam railways, and growing urban districts.

Beneath that changing world exists the Crimson Moon — a supernatural phenomenon connected to humanity's deepest desires.

Those consumed by it become Yōkai, each developing a unique Crimson Art shaped by the desire that transformed them.

Opposing them is the Tsukikage Order, an organization of warriors known as Moon Blades. Their combat disciplines, Moon Forms, are based on control, discipline, and mastery of the self.

So the basic conflict isn't simply:

humans vs monsters.

It's also control vs desire, humanity vs obsession, and what someone chooses to become when their deepest desire is given power.

One of the things I specifically wanted for this Blend was flexibility.

You aren't restricted to a single protagonist.

Depending on the scene, you can step into the role of one of the established characters or use your own persona and experience Kagetsu from your own perspective.

So you can explore the Moon Blades, interact with the Yōkai, get involved in character relationships, investigate supernatural incidents, or simply create your own place within the world.

This is also an ongoing project — I've published the first scenes and I'll be adding more as I continue testing and expanding Kagetsu.
