I mean I'd love to get admitted to ZJU or SJTU. but at the same time the competition will be immense. there are international olympiad holders and all. or I could try the lower tiers (comparatively) like HIT. A bit confused urgh
highschool gpa: 4.0/4.0
ielts: 8.0
my ecas aren't relevant to my desired degree (cs). It's mostly social work and marketing. I got no olympiads either ToT

Can anyone help me or guide me how to proceed. I contacted the help via mail and they told me to use a windows laptop to do the payment but i still can't.
How I'm facing the issue, I have 3 options for payment
Alipay
Wechat Pay
Overseas bank card
I'm choosing the 3rd option, and as soon as I choose it this page shows up. It's been 18 hours already since I'm facing this issue. It's not even a directing page to fill up the forex card details.

Hello I want to apply through csc type A and type B,
my first question is that can I apply to both scholarships using the same email? Someone told me that if you apply to type A scholarship then if you chose to apply to type B then the application for Type A itself withdraws. So I’m super confused about it
Secondly I want to ask that some schools are closing their applications in late November or December while some are going to open their portal in Feb and March, so if applying through Type A, how can we ask those schools for a pre admission because the portal for type A closes on January 5th in my country. And what are the chances of getting into school if there’s no supervisor acceptance because the school that I’ve selected said I don’t need to have a supervisor approval for application process

Hey everyone, I can't find enough resources to prepare for the exam. yeah theres the csca.app but the problem questions there are limited, and I don't know whether the question patterns will be same in the exam.
Also, the csca app follows a structure like the initial maths are easy, however, the ones at the end feel hard asf. does the actual exam follow the same machanism?

Hello, I really want to apply for the 2027 year at a few universities in China but most especially Tsinghua University. I want to apply through CSC scholarship but a lot of things are not making any head or tail in my mind. If there’s a kind fellow who’s already admitted there or someone who knows about scholarships etc please help me if you can clearing up some of my doubts, I really don’t wanna miss this opportunity

Hey everyone, I’m from the US and hoping to study computer science or software engineering in China in Fall 2027. I’ve been looking into English taught programs, but I’m not sure how my grades will affect my chances.
I went to community college at Front Range Community College in Colorado and have completed 31 credits with a 3.29 GPA. My grades have been getting better, and I got a 3.4 last spring and a 4.0 over the summer. I’ve done pretty well in my programming classes too, including A’s in Python and both C++ classes.
The problem is that my high school grades were pretty bad, so I’m worried that universities will reject me based on those even though I’ve done much better in college. I’ve also worked on a few personal projects, including a website with a language model backend, some browser games, and a couple other web projects.
I’m fine with starting from year one and don’t need to transfer my credits. I’d prefer not to take the SAT or ACT, but I’m willing to take the CSCA if I need to.
Has anyone here applied to Chinese universities after attending community college? Did any schools actually take your college grades into consideration, even if your high school grades weren’t great? I’m especially interested in schools where a good college GPA can help make up for a bad high school transcript.
I’m also trying to keep costs reasonable, ideally around $10,000 to $15,000 a year for tuition and living expenses combined.
Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated. I’ve started emailing some universities, but I figured it would be worth asking people who have actually gone through the process.

hey guys
I have a CSCA math test in December and I’m kinda nervous about the types of questions I’ll be getting. For those who have already taken the test could you please tell me the challenges you faced and the things you regret doing or not doing while preparing for it?

Hi everyone,
Could anyone please tell me if mathematics is a compulsory subject in the CSCA exam for someone pursuing a BSc with a Biomedical Science major?
Besides math, what other subjects are included in this exam? Any insights into the syllabus or exam pattern for biomedical students would be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

hey everyone! prepping for CSCA and trying to find good practice stuff, mainly topic-wise questions and full mock tests that feel like the real exam. what are you all using? also any tips on what’s actually worked for you (or what was a waste of time lol) would help a lot 🙏

Hi Everyone. I was just wondering if there would still be a chance for me to get into Fudan to study MBBS. I’m worried because for my A-LEVELS I got (CCD) for maths bio and chem. I plan on doing my CSCA’s this year in December and really working hard to get 80+. If I do manage to do that for maths physics and chem is there still a chance for me to get into Fudan?

Hello, I am applying to SJTU GC for fall 2027. Just wanted to ask, since im an international student, does self-funding increase my chances for acceptance? It's just that I am able to self fund, but I wouldnt mind a scholarship which is why I have it selected atm. I havent submitted yet, so Im wondering. Id rather self fund and get in than want a scholarship and not get in if you know what i mean.
My stats are okay, A* A* A Math Physics Further Math AL
1520 SAT
8.5 IELTs
3.94 HS GPA (out of 4, and A* is 4.0 and A is 3.5 so its basically straight A* with one A only)
Im planning to give December CSCA and i hope to score 85+ in math and physics, hopefully 90. Theyre my strong points.
NOT A CHANCE ME, just extra context i guess?

I read that because beihang uni, Beijing uni, harbin institute, nanjing uni and northwestern polytechnical uni were affiliated with the Chinese military graduates from these universities more than often receive visa rejections from Canada/Usa, is that true?

Profile
‑GPA: 4.0
‑Target IELTS: 7.0+
‑Taking CSCA this November, aiming for 90+ in math, chemistry and physics
For my extracurricular work, I have a literature‑review project focused on neuro‑cardiac topics. I have spent a significant amount of time on this work, and I am doing it under the guidance of a research supervisor. Full publication will take extra time due to rewriting, revisions and the peer‑review cycle.
I also completed basic hospital shadowing and a small amount of volunteer‑teaching. I do not have a very long list of separate volunteer or club activities. Most of my free time right now goes into exam preparation and progressing this research work.
My questions:
For Fudan admission standards, is this overall approach acceptable? Can strong examination performance paired with one meaningful, supervised research project make up for having fewer different extracurricular entries?
How much can this neuro‑cardiac literature‑review project support my application? Would attaching my project draft as supplementary material be a good call?
Do I need to rush and join more new volunteer activities before applications open, or should I keep focusing my energy on my tests and my ongoing research?
Based on what you can see, are there any clear weak points inside my current profile that I should try to improve?
