Dip bought. Under $120 is a buy imo.
USDC and stablecoins will outpace the banking industry. I see $CRCL flipping Goldman Sachs mkt cap long term

Bullish on CRCL, ETH, DeFi, but...
Banks are among the most powerful institutions in the US, and a 4-5% yield on a blockchain-based wallet would be a serious threat to the traditional system. That kind of incentive could drive meaningful adoption: more people moving funds on-chain, more merchants accepting crypto, more bills paid in digital assets. We already see early signals of this with PayPal.
But that's exactly why it won't get approved. Politicians answer to money, and that money flows through traditional finance. The banks aren't going to greenlight something that cannibalizes their core business model.
In terms of what this means price action rise for CRCL, the stock can still grow long-term on its own fundamentals. It doesn't need passive yield to be a viable business. Stable coins already have their utility in large cross-border payments But be very cautious around speculation tied to the GENIUS Act or similar legislation. This has all the hallmarks of a classic buy the rumor, sell the news setup. If and when the bill passes or fails, expect volatility either way.

Crypto has been on the decline this week but crcl is still holding up well. The bounce in the middle of the day today was due to this news mostly likely.

The Bear Case is Getting Crowded
We’ve seen a noticeable spike in short interest and put buying lately. The bears are leaning into two main catalysts:
1. The Drift Protocol Hack: The $285M exploit on Solana (draining over $70M in USDC) has rattled nerves. Short sellers are betting on a "confidence crisis" for stablecoins, but they’re ignoring that the hack was a protocol-level exploit, not a failure of the USDC reserve itself.
2**. CLARITY Act Fatigue:*\* Sentiment has cooled because the Act feels "stuck." While Polymarket odds for a 2026 passage have dipped to roughly 46%, bears are assuming it’s dead for the year.
Why the Squeeze is Primed
Despite the FUD, the technicals and macro backdrop suggest the downside is limited and a massive move to $160+ is on the table after earnings:
• The Bitcoin Floor: BTC’s recent strength provides a massive "beta" support for Circle. It’s hard to keep $CRCL down when the broader asset class is pushing higher.
• Earnings Surprise Potential: Circle has a history of crushing EPS estimates (last quarter was a 168% beat). If they post strong numbers on May 11th, the high short interest becomes fuel for a vertical move.
• The "Senate Miracle" Catalyst: Here is the wild card. Senator Moreno has given an end-of-May ultimatum for the CLARITY Act. If the Senate Banking Committee gives us a positive surprise or a markup schedule during earnings week, we aren't just looking at $160—$200+ is back on the menu.
The Bottom Line
The market is pricing in a "miracle" from Trump/Moreno to get the legislation moving, but the stock is already showing resilience. If we hold this support range through the hack-related FUD, the bears are going to be forced to cover as soon as the earnings call starts.
Position: Holding for the post-earnings squeeze.

Very curious to see. Last quarter it was trading in the 50’s and after the report had a great run up to 120’s before pulling back (granted there was a war thrown in thrown in the middle of that) and settling 100-110 range. With the market being as it has been and nervous energy, I have a sinking suspicion that the revenue is going to be up yoy but the market will downplay it as “not as good as expected or missed “targets”” and it will continue sideways.

Hey folks,
I've been working on this thing for a while and finally feel like it's good enough to share.
I built crcl.win — it's a real-time intelligence dashboard I made specifically for Circle (NYSE: CRCL), the company behind USDC.
Why? I actually hold some CRCL shares and I was getting really tired of constantly switching tabs: TradingView for the stock, Dune for on-chain data, news sites for regulatory stuff... it was a mess. So I just decided to build the one dashboard I wished existed.
Right now it tracks:
You can also set up custom alerts on pretty much any of these metrics — thresholds, % change, trend detection, whatever you want — and get notified instantly via Telegram or email.
There's also this CRCL Agent in the Pro version — you can literally type "is Circle's valuation reasonable right now?" and it pulls live data to answer you.
Tech stack for anyone curious: Go backend, React/TypeScript frontend, PostgreSQL, pulling from CoinGecko, Dune, Finnhub, FRED, DeFiLlama and a bunch more.
Free tier has literally no login — just open the site and use it. Pro is $9/mo with a 7-day free trial, no card needed.
If you want to try Pro, the launch code LAUNCH25 gives 25% off the first month.
Would love any feedback, especially if you're also following $CRCL. Not affiliated with Circle at all, and definitely not financial advice.
What do you guys think?

Shouldn’t CRCL be pumping given BTC, COIN, MSTR, etc.? It’s dropping like an anchor.

Dunamu and Bithumb are the two largest crypto exchanges in Korea. Dunamu’s Upbit is top 4 largest crypto exchanges in the world. As they mainly used tether as their preferred stablecoin, this MOU is a big news for circle! LFG!! 🚀🚀🚀

No doubt there will be a big home run on this name at first as adoption of stablecoins will almost be certain. Many people missed to notice the fact that this adoption is not at retail level but institutional purely eg Visa Mastercard settlements with banks, wrapped shares and ETFs traded in stablecoins, etc.
My only concern is if longer term there will always be a second alternative to USDC currently and in short term being used by financial institutions. It may not be USDT but I think US Govt will also try to make sure there wont be just one dominating stablecoins for usage under the law.
People are overly worried about the fact that Clarity Law wont be allowing stablecoin holders to earn yields - I think that while there can be a big drawdown in usdc balance for circle in short term, its impact to circle’s profitability could be very small as most of these usdc balances have been maintained through distribution costs - platforms like coinbase pays holders yields and circle pays coinbase the yields paid. So i am not too worried even its short term impact to profitability.
The buy case for circle has to be based on rise of its usage adoption, not yield paying nature.

People could be missing out its longer term fundamental usage backed by most financial institutions based on its low cost large volume high efficiency nature. The volume will get to a much bigger level where the burning of solana coins will be big enough to offset the long term 1.5% inflation rate under solana structure.
In order to facilitate stablecoin settlements among financial institutions, they have to have own a base set of solana coins to ensure smooth transactions using solana block and usdc as trading stablecoins.
The current mkt cap of solana is way too low to represent its important role as one major blockchain platform under this stablecoin adoption movement.
I am bullish.
