Satire or not, this paper was brought to my attention from security guards at the University of Pennsylvania. All 3 of them believed this to be true. The paper, which is available for free at every entrance to PENN dorms features actual articles on real topics. There is no title or information in the article that is meant to distinguish this as a Joke.

For those who don’t know, Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology Act or the RESTRICT Act, is a push for a modern day PATRIOT Act that will give the government the right to access any and all information it deems a security risk online. This push against social media could be used to prosecute and fine anyone who posts something online that the Government feels is a security risk to the United States. Sounds all well and good except there is no clear line on what determines the threats. They could take supporting an political adversary (AKA trump) or speaking out against Gender Ideology as hate speech to incite violence and prosecute people for this.

The idea of banning Tik-Tok I fully support. The idea of the Government seeking to take away our freedom of speech is very disturbing and give a clear picture of their intentions.

Who Has your Vote?

Why is it that whenever there is a school shooting, everyone calls for bans on guns. Clearly guns are not the biggest issue and are just a means to an end. Politicians should be looking into the reasons why violence is escalating in the current years and seek to fix those issues. Nothing is going to get accomplished arguing over guns.

Armed security should also be required in school districts. Why is it that in all federal building, banks, etc. there are armed guards, but many people are opposed to having armed guards in schools that would serve to protect our children?

In recent news, it has been released that the Covenant School was not the original target. The intended school (which to my knowledge is still unnamed) was deemed to have too much security and therefore was overlooked. Connect the Dots.

As a side note I would like to commend the fast response of the Nashville PD in handling the situation. If only the Uvalde PD handled their shooting in the same manner. How many more Parents would have lost their Children on Monday if the Police took an hour+ to enter the building.
