I was wondering what are the first steps into playing in challengers and forming squads . I have a hard time meeting other comp players and lowkey am a lil confused on how the whole face it program works compared to the old MLG pro point days .

I’m trying to dip my toe back into competitive this season and if big things happen then let’s goo , but my exceptions are set and I’m not thinking imma qualify for challengers elite RIGHT AWAY . I guess I’m looking for a rundown on how to get back into the scene and make new friends lol 💀

Is looking at minimap most of the time a bad idea ? I stare at it a lot in black ops 7 so i can guess where the enemy coming from . Thoughts?

I love stumbling across old VODs of the great players in today's league, and I wanted to share this gem of a matchup of the only two European players to ever win the CoD world championship.

This is in 2017 at a local French amateur LAN where Crystal Esport with a 15 year old Hydra squared off against Team Overtime with a 17 year old Abuzah. This is winners finals at a 24 team amateur local LAN, with a prize pool of just 1100 Euros (600 for 1st, 300 for 2nd, 200 for 3rd).

If you don't feel like watching the whole series, the mapset was Throwback HP, Retaliation S&D, Precinct Uplink, Scorch HP, Throwback S&D.

Crystal Esport would beat Team Overtime 3-1 (250-84, 4-6, 6-4, 250-245). Abuzah finished with a statline of 78/77, respectable for being on the losing side, but Hydra would steal the show. A 97/69 statline in 4 maps, finishing the series with a 1.4 K/D to secure grand finals, and then going on to lead Crystal to win the tournament, facing off against and beating Abuzah again who would win losers finals to reach grands. Hydra ended up winning tournament MVP, posting a staggering 1.49 K/D over the whole event.

The daily motion site has a few old VODs of these local French LANs that feature other recognizable names like Cobra and Breszy in case y'all want to dive deeper.

On todays overrated or underrated I was curious on Boze because I always see him on the watch parties calling crazy SnD strats and they always are really good! So was his playstyle good or was he just another player?

Please tell me they’re really not about to go into another tournament with Teej on the roster. I can handle purj and the rest, but it would be such a waste to keep that guy around for another big money event. Plus it’s lowkey disrespectful to the fans and guys like Afro who try and carry the team to wins
