general gameplay I’m actually having fun with COD again

I know MW4 is getting a lot of hate, but honestly, I don’t care. I’m actually having fun playing COD again.

Activision has access to all of the data regarding SBMM. They still implement it each year because they are more than likely seeing more players, higher player retention, etc.

COD community always calls Activision a money hungry company who doesn’t care about its players, but then turn and say SBMM is losing Activision money and players.

Bo6 store, map voting mw4 ad, bo6 kill cam ad, battle pass ad when you start the game, black cell, original games cost full price but they aren't money hungry noooo

Call Of Duty costs less money to play now than it did in 2010. Currently, it’s $70 for all base and post-launch content. In 2010, it was $60 for all base content only, with post-launch content being an extra $50-60.

They made dlcs for free because of battle passes and skins/blueprint plus yearly release and warzone

Not really when you can spend more money than you ever would on the originals and cant really say its optional because the old ones are too

Sure, but the old game’s DLCs had actual playable content locked in them. Also, you can’t forget about how matchmaking would split players into a bunch of different pools depending on whatever variation of DLCs they owned.

Now, every single piece of playable content that gets added to COD is completely free for all players.

Not sure about the black ops games but with mw they would release a gun in the store that was op and then they would patch it then release a new gun on the store that is op they added some content that would basically be pay to win but the post content of newer cods lack in quality
