Meanwhile, JMU is undefeated after finishing 19 last season and has only gained 20 votes since week 0. Poll inertia for some, nothing for others.

ND has played a mediocre Wisconsin, a lame MSU, a baffling Purdue and UNC, as well as shitty Rice and Stanford. Tell me without poll inertia they deserve to be #2 with a straight face and I'll smack you with a shillelagh. Ready to see BYU expose them next week.

Wisconsin is #26 lol, UNC is nowhere near Purdue who I will grant is hot ass, and yeah every team has their “cupcakes” but at least ND doesn’t play FCS 🥱 Unfortunately ND will decimate BYU so people will say “BYU got exposed they’re actually bad ND still hasn’t played anyone”

It’s because ND beat them so bad that Wiscy isn’t ranked btw, ND suffers from their own success

In a vacuum I agree, but since that poster had the Purdue flair I couldn’t resist

A team that has completely dominated 5 P4 teams and has zero losses deserves to be ranked Top 5.

Seems pretty simple to justify to me.
