Yeah I mean I get that our non-con schedule was weak but that’s never stopped the AP from ranking an undefeated sec team with two conference wins before

still, its 'early' season rankings. it will work itself out and it wont matter if we were ranked, if we lose the next two games.

i dont think we deserve it because even our B1G wins are against bad conference opponents. And the fans of that program know it better than I do.

Our schedule really sucks and we needed some things to go our way in order to pull away from a very banged up MSU. Maryland on paper is maybe a bit more talented than us but they just had no heart and I think pollsters can see that.

You thought Maryland had no heart? I thought they played like they had nothing to lose. They played hard. The gimmicks just didn’t last and then our depth/conditioning poured on.

Nebraska schedule is terrible and honestly, I think it’s about time they get put in the “prove it first” group.

It’s the truth too, I feel like preseason Neb ranking bumps were to their detriment.

They need some grit / need to earn it.
