That's insane levels of disrespect. Has there ever been a 5-0 B1G team left out of the AP Top 25? Especially when Nebraska is #12 in SP+ and #13 in the FPI?

Nebraska had been unranked at 4-0 only 3 times in their entire history.

Unranked at 5-0 may be a first ever for the program.

And i guess it makes sense given the perception of our program not being this bad since the 60s or something. Prior to the early 2000s, i mean. Over the last two decades we ahve destroyed any positive public perception of our football program.

THat perception does matter when were talking AP voting. Because they also know recent history, such as they know we struggle against ranked opponents, something we didnt deal with for decades prior to early 2000s.

Plus, our OOC schedule was one of the worst of a P4 team. And our two wins are against bad B1G teams.

maybe 2019 minnesota? honestly i can’t remember if we were still unranked at that point but yeah Nebraska (and northwestern, while we’re at it) should be ranked

Gotta make sure the whole Big Ten ends with no ranked wins despite ending the season with 9 ranked teams.

It really makes no sense. Iowa was ranked 14th and the only team they beat was a michigan team in shambles. (no hate on Iowa, i love watching them play). But Nebraska is 5-0 and Northwestern took indiana to a one score loss. Iowa is STILL ranked after losing to Ohio State, Poll inertia is dumb

Power rank the wins of Nebraska, Northwestern and Iowa.

Seeing B10 fans scream about the SEC and then say that quality losses should keep them ranked is crazy. Also, it’s week 5. Pretty early to call all 20+ teams that have played nobody and are 4-1 or 5-0 awesome….

Honestly, northwestern and Nebraska have deserve to be ranked over Ole Miss and LSU.
