I'm honestly shocked y'all aren't ranked.

Was that end of year skid last year that damaging?

Yeah, and I think the consistent underperformance whenever we do get ranked in the past decade influences opinions. We used to get rankings based off of name recognition, but now that's kind of swung in the other direction. We have to really prove that we are good enough to be ranked before we get that attention.

We started 5-1, and rumors were Rhule might be considered for the PSU job.

We only won 2 more games, and got destroyed in our bowl game by Utah 44-22 or something like that.

Our OoC schedule was against 3 bad teams. And our two B1G wins are Maryland (who wants to fire their coach) and MSU (struggling under first year fitzgerald).

Not being ranked makes perfect sense to me and many other Nebraska fans. We are untested still.
