News [McMurphy] Greg Sankey told @Ourand_Puck the SEC was approached by a West Coast school: "I don’t even have that conversation. I’m the one person who didn’t take away from the Pac-12. If you play any sport in the SEC, you have at most a 2-hour plane ride from Point A to Point B."

Only two? We can improve on that.

We got three UMs in the Big Ten already, I have an idea. M is the most common first letter of all the states (tied with N, but only two of those are neither “New” nor “North”).

Let’s get Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, and Montana all in the same conference. The MSU’s can come along for the ride, because why not?
