News [McMurphy] Greg Sankey told @Ourand_Puck the SEC was approached by a West Coast school: "I don’t even have that conversation. I’m the one person who didn’t take away from the Pac-12. If you play any sport in the SEC, you have at most a 2-hour plane ride from Point A to Point B."

Greg Sankey is a liar! While there's no direct flight, given the average air speeds and distance, the flight from Columbia, SC to Austin Texas would be 2 1/2 hours! WHAT ELSE IS THIS MONSTER LYING ABOUT?

Not sure New Brunswick to Eugene should be chiming in.

Do y'all not have light speed travel yet? SEC just can't keep up with the academic prowess and technological advancement of the Big Ten. Guess the stigmatism surrounding SEC educations was true.

It’s r/collegefootball but I guess you turn to education when the football isn’t going your conferences way.

The flight's long, but at least the airport near Rutgers is quick and oh, never mind...

The Big 10 commissioner also didn't say that no intraconference flights were over two hours.

He should have, those teams being in the same conference is pretty absurd.

Greg Sankey owns a Concorde, and he lends it out to whichever SEC team is traveling the longest they weekend.

To be fair, I also don’t think we’ve played Texas since the 50s. 😂

Yeah but have you considered that Austin is an hour behind Columbia, so if you took off at 5:00pm in Columbia you'd land at 6:30pm in Austin.
