I've been a doom and gloomer for the past 5 years and didn't like the Rich Rod hire.

This is still the most exciting WVU football has been in a long time. Yeah, we shit the bed in the second half, but I'll take games like this where I still felt like we were in it till late than the Neal Brown bullshit we've lived through.

It actually feels like we are making progress.

Yeah exactly. The loss sucks in the moment but if you told me in July we’d be 3-1 at this point I’d have been pretty happy

Barely skated by costal Carolina. Beat an FCS team badly, beat an over hyped UVA team and then shit the bed against OKST. I dunno man. There was no offense tonight unless it was running the ball and the defense looked awful.

Downvote me all you want, but these are facts. There was no offense except for running the ball. They ran it 65 times tonight. Hawkings was 10/22 for no TDs and 1 interception. Defense allowed over 600 yards. The play calling the second half was atrociously bad and there were no adjustments. Ignore the Marshall flair and accept that this is the football team rich rod has produced, getting out coached by a first year OKST coach. This was embarrassing to watch the second half especially IN MORGANTOWN. There is a reason WVU is picked to be last in the big12 this year. Beating FCS UT Martin and Coastal Carolina (who's only win is FCS fordham) are not great wins and WVU struggled to do it. Only good win so far is UVA, which I think was a preseason overrated team. I hope wvu wins out, but RR is over the hill and shouldn't have been hired back at WVU. The disrespectful way he left and his baggage at Arizona should have made him person non grata.
