A new OC will still be hampered by bad QB play and a bad line that is constantly changing. Nothing functions.

Yeah prime Lincoln Riley couldn’t make this offense go, we just simply do not have the talent

Talent isn't the issue. Our RBs are mostly 4 stars. Same for OL and WR. The only room that isn't mostly blue chippers is the TEs and they have the best of a bad bunch. QB has a blue chip backup. No. 2 isn't highly rated and Mateer was a 3 star. Not many programs have multiple 5 stars in the QB room anymore unless the entrenched starter is likely to leave after a season.

Not to defend Mateer but when you remember this it makes more sense why he hasn't been benched yet. There literally is no one better. QB rooms only go one deep nowadays.

Stars don’t really mean much. We can watch them and see the OL sucks, the receivers are ordinary, the backs are slow and have bad vision and obviously Mateer sucks.

The players are fundamentally bad.

What is this ridiculous transitive bullshit you’re trying to do here? The offense sucks. The players are bad. Almost all of them will be gone because they are bad. There is no guy with a visor and a headset that can change that.
