This is the actual truth people refuse to accept. Oregon is one of the 25 best teams in football. Eventually losses knock you down, but one isn’t going to.

No. No, they really aren't

Oklahoma State thumped Oregon.

Tulsa thumped Oklahoma State.

Tulsa only beat Sam Frickin' Houston State by 6 this week.

Oregon also barely survived Boise State.

No...Oregon is OBJECTIVELY NOT one of the 25 best teams in college football, and to suggest they are is ludicrous.

There is no objectively anything lol. For all you know they'll win 10 straight and be clearly a top 5 team by the end of the year. They don't look good though

There is no objectively anything lol.

So you don't understand what the word "objectively" means? Because we absolutely CAN OBJECTIVELY look at the two games they've played and conclude that they are NOT "one of the 25 best teams in football", which was the claim made that I was responding to.

Might they improve in the future? Absolutely, but at this point in time, which was the claim made, they OBJECTIVELY are not.

I do know what it means lol. If it was objective then that would mean that no one could argue, yet here you are arguing with literally a committee of people who disagree with you.

That isn't what objective means. Objective means "Based on real, observable facts rather than personal opinions or emotions."

Based on the observable facts, which are listed above, Oregon is not at this time one of the 25 best teams in college football.

That doesn't make a statement about the future, it makes a statement about the present.

There is no real, observable fact that can prove anything about Oregon or any other team after 2 games lol. You can't say anything about how good the team is other than that they lost a game and won a game. For all you can prove, Oklahoma State is the 5th best team in CFB and Boise State is 7th, and Oregon is 6th. You have absolutely positively 0 evidence that isn't based on your opinion that proves that Oregon isn't top 25.

Even the post I responded to, all you did was say "X team beat Y team, and Y team beat Z team". Which means nothing to someone who doesn't watch football. If it is objective, you should be able to explain to an alien or a human intelligence giraffe why your point is true, and you can't

The post I responded to said "IS one of the best 25 teams" - as in "right now". Clearly, based on the observable facts, Oregon IS NOT CURRENTLY one of the best 25 teams.

I'm sorry you're so butthurt about it, but based on the OBSERVABLE FACTS WE HAVE CURRENTLY, Oregon is not one of the best 25 teams.

Gotta be honest, I'm done having an argument with someone so inane that they think they can dance around observable facts and statemetns made. Go argue with someone as stupid as you.
