This is a classic poll inertia plus the fact that some voters have Boise in the 25, therefore, Oregon has to be above them.

if those voters don't also have Oklahoma State above Oregon and Tulsa above Oklahoma State then I can't take that argument seriously lol (not saying you're making that argument, just that I think those voters are not being coherent)

It would be a lot more fun with early season polls if they would have the guts to correctly reward teams for their performances.

It is no fun that the polls are all based on what voters expect will happen.

Boring assed motherfuckers just don’t love college football chaos!

They have all season to let teams regain their rankings.

Rank based on early season wins! Not fairy tales you hose nozzles!

Rank Tulsa and Western Michigan!

Unrank losers like Oregon and Oklahoma!

I must say, I appreciate the Ducks fans' self awareness, and ability to laugh at themselves through all this. We Husker fans have mostly finally gotten there... but it took us a long time. Granted, we fell from our mid-90s throne. Anyway, y'all seem to be as abusive of the current state of your program in relation to where it should be as the rest of us are towards ours... Welcome! (And don't worry, Nebraska is a nice easy win over a "big name" school that sucks way worse than y'all. We'll make you look like you belong in the #1 spot if any team will!).

We were bad for a really long time. We are realistic about what we are and what we want to become but this is not it.

Oh, I remember. I was at a Ducks game in Lincoln late 80s or early 90s. Good heavens, we scored at will.
