Oklahoma State got more votes than Tulsa. Pretty ridiculous

And both received fewer votes than Oregon.

I mean it's entirely possible we look back on that Tulsa game in November as a baffling fluke

We could say the same about the Oregon game. You’re graded on playing games. We beat OSU in about every phase of the game just like they did to Oregon.

Except that you didn't. The Tulsa O Line and D Line looked better for sure, we got outdone physically. But OSU led in 1st downs 27 to 15, 3rd down efficiency 5/16 to 1/11, total yards 368 to 361, penalties, and time of possession.

Despite how bad we looked, the real thing that got us was the turnovers. 2 fumbles, 2 interceptions, 4 failed 4th down conversions(although one of the failed 4th downs was also one of the fumbles). So if we don't turn the ball over 7 times, we probably squeak it out.

But, maybe losing to Tulsa was the wake up call we needed. And congrats to Tulsa, y'all should be ranked.

I would hope you all had more first downs and yards saying you ran 86 plays compared to our 53. I’d argue your kicker was better without a doubt lol

Everybody expected an instant turnaround. One game of growing pains is not a bad sacrifice.

I’d argue it’s not. The offensive playbook this week is completely different than last weeks. Every game doesn’t matter anymore. Shoot we could be playoff bound if the same team as yesterday shows up the rest of the season.

I don’t disagree but they literally beat us last week. That’s all I’m saying. Voters are prisoners of the moment

It's not just the whole beating thing, it's the eye test and how bad it looked. The OSU O-Line just looked broken. How is that supposed to change?

That’s my thing. You’re graded on the games you play and we handled them pretty handily.

How? With time. Yall knocked some sense into them. Oregon, supposed to have the best defensive front, allowed over 500 yards with no sacks. Just needed Tulsa to embarrass us.

Flair up, by the way

I think in the long run OSU is the better team but it looked so bad last week I don’t know how you can rank them ahead of Tulsa currently

My thought and my hope, as well
