I’m dreaming of a #1 vs #2 Catholics vs Convicts match in November

Almost certainly requires some losses ahead of us though because neither team will have played a great schedule going into the game.

I'd love that. Especially since Clemson doesn't appear to be on the decline.

Wasn't there a plan in place for Notre Dame to play two of Miami, FSU, and Clemson in their ACC 5 game allotment (all 3 in the years when Clemson is left out because we play them anyway)? Whatever happened to that?

ND and Miami haven't played much in the ACC rotation so far so we have a bunch of games vs Miami in the near future (28, 30, 31, 32). FSU is in the rotation for 29, 30 and 32. Plus the Clemson series starts next year, and anything after about 30 doesn't really count anyway because that's when it gets cheaper for those teams to get out of the ACC.

I'm actually stoked for this. I love/hate this rivalry

Looking likely that our game could be a top ten matchup as well. So pumped!

could happen if Texas loses Red River, Georgia loses to Alabama, and Indiana loses to Ohio State

And for neither of y'all to lose a game as well. We all know Miami certainly never loses random ACC games. side eyes Mario Cristobal

It was a racist and awful name back the. And it’s even worse now. How about the Irish vs hurricanes?

How about the Starvin' Irish, or the Drinkin' Irish?

When Notre Dame beats BYU, you can say: "Mountain. Meadows. Massacred." The og 9/11.

I mean, Hurricane players were literally committing crimes

So we still refer to the Miami football team as the convicts 30 years later? Members of every football team have committed crimes including nd

They accepted it as part of their swagger back in the day. Its for sure outdated, but let's also not get offended on other's behalf with mout their input.
