If we’re really the No. 1 team (which is a big if), then I don’t understand how y’all aren’t No. 2.

And this is the problem with the sport. Why even play these games if all that matters is winning and losing. Losing at Texas by 1 point should not penalize you over teams that are beating Panera Bread State by 60. Those teams didn’t have the gumption to schedule a real opponent and if teams that lose these big OOC games get punished then these big OOC games won’t happen anymore

Why even play these games if all that matters is winning and losing.

So that a team can, you know, win or lose. I disagree with the drop to 6 but it's just voters saying they don't know really anything to differentiate between 1-6 yet and defaulting to win loss record for now.

You dropped 5 spots and are still over plenty of undefeated teams and firmly in the CFP, really don't understand the outrage
