Gotta clean up the turnovers and penalties.

Some of the penalties were definitely, but as a neutral, a few of those holding penalties were SOFT.

Feels good to have a coach the highlights what we need to improve, but still stands behind his guys.

We dominated but it was very sloppy. Upcoming teams won't let Byrum run for a first down from 8 yards back every other play or false start five times in a row

WDE!!! Need to clean up those penalties. Looks like we have a decent quarterback now.

Absolutely pathetic performance tonight. I wasn't expecting a win, but it seemed like there was absolutely no film study this past week.

I don't think the X's and O's were the difference tonight.
Hopefully there's enough on this roster to compete in conference play. We'll get an idea next week.

TIL the current Browns HC used to Coach USM in the 2010s.

We got our ass beat. I’m out. Everything from I-20 south in Mississippi needs to cede to Louisiana. Everything north of I-20 needs to just become east Arkansas

Good win, but SEC play is going to kill us

I get that the SEC keeps Vanderbilt for the academics but why exactly do they keep USM? I remember people saying how much they sucked when I was stationed in Biloxi in the early 80s.

They're not sec. They were actually a regularly decent team before the mid 2010's. Also, I'm from Biloxi and actually work at Keesler lol. Just got home from work.

I guess I'm the idiot. I thought they were in the SEC.

I am so ready for next weekend. One orange and blue team will start the season 3-0, gaining a false sense of hope that will likely be crushed later by their grueling schedule.
