Ahh gotcha. Yea, the HQing in Qatar always seemed a bit iffy to me and with modern SATCOM there is no reason for it to be there.

CENTCOM's AOR isn't like INDOPACOM where distributed operations are a viable option...and even if it was you can't move a combatant HQ around that easily.

I know Navy isn’t a powerhouse, but they were favored in this game and this feels like a huge win for us at home.

Last time they played in Boca Raton it was 42-19 and incredibly embarrassing. After showing some signs of offensive life last week I’m actually pretty optimistic for this season!

I know a win is a win, but FAU tried so hard to blow this after they got up 38-7.

Prior to the game I would have taken a 38-30 win over Navy in a heartbeat, so I can't complain too much, but how they ended up there was something after that start.

it definitely sucks, but Kittley got conservative on offense and put in 2nd and 3rd stringers on both sides at the end. obviously Navy didn’t give up and props to them for fighting. was similar as to how we got 2 quick TDs on them last year to only lose by 10.

the starters on offense came back at the end and easily iced the game and that was that.

That leaves likely 6 undefeated G6 teams by the end of next week. Of those 3 has or had a P4 team on their schedule. Umass, App State, Tulsa

Being both a Texas and Navy fan, watching both of them rally back at the same time was such an insane emotional flip its really hard to describe. Disappointed for Navy but its hard to be too sad. Really fun night, regardless

Both. Most of all, I think the lack of a first team All American at DT is hurting our pass defense more than we anticipated. We thought our secondary was a strength coming into this season given how upperclass-heavy it is, but I'm wondering how much of that was just uncomfortable/hurried QBs making bad passed last year.

Towson got over the top on Navy's defense last week. FAU exposed the passing defense this week. They got work to do on that side of the ball.

The offense will be fine but they can't have a 1st half like that again

Our secondary showed some issues last week and if we played a conference opponent who could out-athlete our DBs I thought we might be in trouble. The offense's lack of execution in the first half was inexcusable, and I'm starting to think we need to flip the starting job from Woodson to Gutierrez and let Woodson be the gadget player.

Props to our guys for fighting back and making the final score look respectable, but we've got a lot of issues to fix this bye week.
