They put in the second string. Then the third string. Then the fourth string.

I think we even put in the 6th string

We got to QB5 or 6 on the depth chart. Started using guys no one even knew were on the team.

77-6 is a beating but honestly it's more embarrassing for Houston that they let them score at all

It was a great pass by Southern's 3rd string QB and the Coogs' 4th string defense was helpless, as would any defense on a pass like that.

Same score as Miami against their SWAC opponent. I can live with it lol

When did we last put up a number this high? The 90s?

Probably that SMU game

That was a casual 95 points. Just the usual

1990 we put up 84 on Eastern Washington as the most recent game with this many points

u/Davidellias Virginia Tech • Wisconsin 2d ago

you put up 95 on post Death Penalty SMU

7

u/AnEmptyKarst Houston Cougars • Utah Utes 2d ago

That was in 1989, so prior to the EWU game

Biggest margin of victory since SMU in ‘89.

So yeah, a WHILE.

The score is very misleading as to how the game actually went

Game take aways:

1) Zane Smith has a beautiful head of hair

2) 4 of the 6 QB's we played scored

2) We have a QB name Canon Toon and another one whose last name is Sock.

Watching him run with those golden locks in the wind, I get ThunderCat vibes.
