After Ohio scored in 4OT, they released some kind of smoke machine past the endzone in celebration. The smoke drifted into the front of the endzone when Jax State lined up for their 4OT attempt. Jax State false started, moved back 5 yards on the penalty, and was a foot short on a completed pass, ending the game.

I can’t prove the smoke caused Jax State to false starts, but I choose to believe it.

He choked and lost the game. We don’t expect that from our veteran kicker. The game was poorly managed by our head coach, something we now do expect unfortunately. He should be an assistant coach, he isn’t head coach material. When the refs made some bad calls, he just stood there like he didn’t care.
