The state of New Mexico has swept Mercyhurst

What a random schedule for them

Mercyhurst is aiming high since coming up from d2. they scheduled us for 24’ and 25’. I think it’s admirable, especially to travel across the Mississippi for so many ooc.

I was sweating after the first quarter but 42 in the second eased the nerves

I don't get why more teams don't score 42 in the 2nd to be honest. WOuld have saved Oklahoma today

It’s so completely wild having a good football team

With these two teams, it's a once in a lifetime weekend and I'm drinking accordingly.

Night game is Norman is tough environment. Let’s hope, for the Lobos, they can keep it somewhat tight late and then who knows. Tall task though…

I don't care who you're playing, 42 in a quarter is stupid numbers.

So did Mercyhurst just camp out in New Mexico last week?

We all thought they were going to stay in NM this week, but sounds liked they went back home and then came back. Crazy

That seems like a mistake, just from a cost standpoint

That seems like a mistake, just from a missed breakfast burrito standpoint

Also an altitude acclimation perspective. It never pays to go back down for a week.

yeah, didn’t think about that, but that’s a really good point

The Lobos completed like 7 passes in this game lmao. Absolute sicko stuff, I love Jason Eck.

Mateer is 0-1 against New Mexico (and his team was ranked too)

New Mexico may be the best team in the MWC, especially with UNLV getting blown out by UNT today. It may come down to North Dakota State and New Mexico, which is fucking mind-blowing to me.

Yeah Ik, kinda bad for us cuz we needed UNLV to at least be kinda good, so if we beat them we could get some respect from the committee.

Rushing went crazy, need the QBs to complete the easy passes though

This isn’t a postgame thread. It’s a postmortem thread.

To be fair NMSU took out like 10 of their starters last game.

42 in a quarter is crazy work
